The dive Center was punctual and quick. Both of our instructors taught us beautifully. Both the instructors were extremely helpful.

Great surf school

We did a bunch of lessons with Raghul, which were great. He's a good, patient teacher and a nice guy. Definitely recommend.

Best place to learn surfing in Mahabalipuram

Had amazing time with Mumu and Raghul. They are very patient and good teachers, making it perfect for novices and advanced surfers alike..
Friendly personalities and always welcoming.
Would strongly recommend for all ages and levels of experience

Excellent surf lesson & great fun!

A couple of days ago we had our first surfing lesson @ Mumu surf school! The instructions were very clear and Mumu was very patient with explaining all the basics of surfing to us. He helped us catch the waves and at the end of the surf lesson we both could stand on our boards! We had a very good time and a lot of fun ☺️

Amazing place to learn

I took my first two lessons last week with Mumu Surf School.
Super nice and friendly experience.
Almost no body in the water, some nice wave to learn and a super nice teacher giving you advice all the time.
I strongly recomande this place !

Mukesh will get you up riding your first wave

My son and I took a couple classes with Mukesh and his instructors 2 years ago and we both were able to ride waves in our first class with him. That experience was enough for the two of us to continue on with classes in California where we are from. When we came back to India and Mahabalipuram, we came right back to Mumu’s for board rentals and classes. My brother-in-law came this time and he rode a wave in his first class too! The point/beach break where he teaches is a great beginner beach. The water is warm and the surf is pretty mellow. It was nice to come back and surf the place where we started our surfing journey. We plan on coming back again!

Friendly, fun surf school

We have 2 teenagers who spent an hour and a half learning to surf with Mumu. They loved every minute. Instruction was great and at their level. Equipment was all provided. The people were very friendly. A great introduction to surfing. Mumu also sent us some photos he took while in the water.

Great teacher and experience!

We went surfing twice. Both times were a lot of fun. Mumu was a good and fun teacher. He was very patient too. We definitely recommend his surf school and shop.

The best in Chennai!

We surfed all along the Covelong area and then came to Mumu’s on our last day and we can easily say it was the best place to surf! The owner is wonderful and was so helping. The beach is cleaner and much less busy with swimmer than Covelong, the waves are great and the town is very cute. We wish we had stayed here the whole time! 10/10 recommend and will definitely be back.

Great first surf experience!

Visited in the beginning of April, when we wanted to take our first surf lesson here. Mumu is a relaxed guy who knows how to teach. After a few tries we were able to stand up.
Before or after the lesson you can get breakfast in their café which is managed by Mumu's wife.
Both of them are closely involved by getting the beach cleaner and safer.
We had some nice conversations with both of them. I would definitely recommend!
