这是我们在冰岛（参观）的第一个瀑布，非常漂亮。水的是很漂亮的蓝色。这里的步道很容易走。

“容易到达的美丽瀑布”

停车的地方就在瀑布的旁边, 是不小心就会错过的路线. 游客很少, 我们到的时候没有半个人, 一直到准备离开时才看到另一台车过来, 离瀑布非常近, 有告示牌显示小心滑落, 值得一看.

Beautiful waterfall and canyon, many spots to get a great photo, not far off the main road and road was a good gravel road
Also has a couple of trails if you want to hike, 2 small parking areas one on each side of the bridge.

One of the best waterfall

Beautiful waterfall and canyon. It's worth to visit. It's not too far from hightway 1. It's easy to walk and free parking.

Canyon con cascata

Bellissimo Canyon con cascata che vi attende con una piccola deviazione dalla ss 1 svoltando sulla ss 715 e proseguendo per 3 km fino al posteggio.
Il ponte attraversa il canyon e permette bellissime visuali da ambo i lati. Un sentiero sterrato di 1 km che costeggia il canyon permette vari postazione da cui guardare la spettacolo . Gatis,nessun tiket da pagare

Short visit

Stopped here whilst on a long drive on Route 1 and it proved to be a useful place to take a break and stretch legs, only a short drive off the main road. The falls and canyon were pleasant enough but not as jaw-dropping as many of Iceland’s falls. If we had driven here specially we’d have been disappointed. You’d be hard pressed to spend more than 20 minutes here.

Tour Islanda 06.2023

Non fa parte del classico tour, non c’è ressa, comunque è uno spettacolo mozzafiato camminare sulla piattaforma panoramica e guardare le calme acque del fiume saltare improvvisamente e precipitare in avanti su così tante cascate impressionanti, È possibile scendere da un lato del ponte e avvicinarsi alle cascate e al canyon. Sia dal basso che dall’alto è uno spettacolo che non lascerà indifferenti.

One of the most Spectacular waterfalls in Iceland (and there are 400+!)

Don’t miss this breathtaking remote waterfall if you are in the area. It’s not a typical tourist stop, so less crowded. You can view the waterfall from the bridge or take a short hike closer to the falls. Really such a beautiful experience.

A short drive of the main road and we’ll worth it

This is a beautiful waterfall just a short drive off the Ring Road. It’s about 10 minutes down a dirt road, but a fairly easy drive. There is a free parking lot next to the bridge that crosses the river, giving you excellent views of the falls and the canyon. Those more adventurous can take some of the paths down toward the water, but be careful, the rocks are slippery and steep.

I would rather take the time to visit other nearby sights like Borgarvirki. There is not really much to see there and not good walking paths around.

Simply stunning and just off the ring road.

Simply stunning. Its your loss if you are in northern Iceland and don't visit this one as its less than 10 minutes off the ring road. The gorge is impressive but the waterfalls, especially the top one, are so beautiful. You can get up close to the action which makes for great photography but take care as this whole area is unfenced and if you fell its goodbye.
There is a small car park before the bridge and a much bigger one over the bridge.
Its great for disabled visitors as you can get good views from the road and main tracks but the track along the canyon is not disabled friendly, despite its initial appearance.
Its normally fairly quiet but the odd tour bus visits here then it is mayhem. If this happens, do like me and have your lunch or brew a drink and they'll soon be gone.
