Shady waters, too shallow sea, lots of algae in the bottom. The beach is very small, there are some forgotten sunbeds. I ⁇ do not recommend it

Sessiz, sevimli bir kasaba. Sardunya Festivaline denk geken tatilimiz, daha hareketli ve eğlenceli geçti. Restaurantlar çok hesaplıydı ve hizmet kaliteliydi. Tek sorun denizin sığ ve çok yosunlu olmasıydı. Yüzmekte çok zorlandık. Araba ile gittiğimiz için farklı plajlara giderek yüzdük, böylelikle adayı da gezmiş olduk. Ben ve ailem için keyifli bir tatildi.

Friendly staff (owner) great choice of drinks, ales local lager, also food if you want a change from the usual, great pizza's, spring rolls, fresh baguets... Beautiful view very chilled. The owner and his wife were very attentive not over the top. A special word for Effien ( sorry about spelling) she's so friendly good with the customers

When writing this I am reviewing the beach where the restaurants are.
Good beach and as long as you buy a drink you can use the beds free of charge.
There are cats and dogs on this beach but they are all over this resort.
Parts of the sea are seaweed but others are ok. Easy to swim and as in a bay very salty.
You can walk out for a long distance and it isn’t deep.

Windless beach with shallow warm waters... The bottom has a lot of seaweed... Nothing special, if you are in the area for swimming there are umbrellas that are not charged.

Sandy beach, but there is a lot of Shells ad seaweed, which doesn't affect the walk. You can walk a few minutes along from the village and your have the place to yourself.

It's not a big deal. Shallow, warm, calm, windless beach. Ideal for families with small children on days when access to other beaches is not possible due to many Beauforts. The beach has fine sand and there are tamarind trees for those without an umbrella.

Längst in i viken /varmaste vattnet ligger denna by och strand. Sanddyner och finkornig sand. Byn har ett flertal små tavernor om hunger eller törst tränger på.

This beach was awful and after one visit stayed round our hotel pool.
The water was murky due to the soft mud underfoot. You had to wade through seaweed to get out and then the water was only waist high. The beach near the harbour and restaurants was covered with cat/dog poo as there are a lot of strays living round there. The water was calm due to being at the top of a large protected bay.
The beaches on the north of the island were lovely and we would stay there if we returned to Lesvos.

We have been going Skala kalloni for the last 4 years and will be there in August this year

We have read some bad reviews about the beach...that it is dirty with cigarette butts and dogs and cats fouling the beach...is this true.....does the Kalloni Bay Hotel keep it's section of the beach clean ?

We had heard the same things about the beach but found it to be quite clean. No cigarette butts or animal poo. That was October 2015. Lovely resort as long as you don't want anything more than quiet friendly and unspoilt which we don't!

Hello Kalloni Bay lovers,
Me and my fiancee are spending 2 weeks in Malemi hotel, stsrting July 24th. Since I have been reading the reviews of the beach there in skala kallonis, however, we are definitely not a pool-at-the-seaside users, we would really appreciate if you could share a few pieces of advice where to go to find any good beaches nearby... The first week we'll be mainly chillin, but the second, we are also going to explore the rest of the island... So, any suggestions for the kalloni bay beaches that can be accesse on foot or by bike, besides the main beach, that is supposed to be dirty? Is it really in that bad state?!

The beach is not really dirty, the sand is a greyish colour so not so attractive, but the water is really clear. The Hotel Malemi has an area on the beach at the end of the road from the hotel with sun beds. There was very little rubbish on the beach. We are not really beach people so did not spend any time on that beach or any others, other than walking down the beach to the town. The hotel is really lovely and George and Effie are very welcoming. The facilities at the hotel are good with a nice pool and patio area. Sorry I could not be much help on the beach question. Have a great holiday.
