My friends and I went there for community service by May 2018 but seeing the ocean view feels like summer vibes that we must try. Palm trees, ocean breeze, salty air, and sun-kissed hair took us there. Some of the best memories are made in Apuao Grande Island. Wish to come back soon!

the place is deseeted and untouched. It has fine white sand beaches, crystal clear waters, gorgeous landscape, and the sunset is stunning gold. Picnic and camping by the beach is recommended.

We landed on the part of the island not so much crowded.Rented a makeshift cottage and negotiated with the price to include the admission fee for the island.

Lots of pine trees which act as a cover for the hot summer days. The place is serene when we went there on a weekdays but found a bit of a crowd when you walk further down the island. Wise to bring your own tarp or big umbrella for a picnic on the island for it can get really crowded on weekends or holidays.

Nice powdery sand on the beach. This our first time to visit the beaches of Merecedes and we were never really paying attention about the jellyfish until I saw it myself. Better swim on the netted area only. well everybody appreciate the beauty of a rose flower but do mind its thorns.

Maybe someday can go back and spend a night on the island.

The Island is beautiful and may be reach from Mercedes Town proper in Camarines Norte, Philippines.
Solitude and relaxation will be experienced.

Note: it's been a decade since we had a business meeting/outing but i wasn't reviewing then so pardon the interval.
I am not a stranger to daet because I visit friends there. Apuao has a resort with enough rooms to accommodate fun loving groups. I didn't get to swim but i can't forget the fun, the campfire we made and all the beer and barbecue we consumed. We had the whole island practically to ourselves. A mini boracay with all the privacy and boat-fuel-free waters if you know what i mean. Always bring a big commercial carton to the beach to use as trashbox. Plastic bags are too flimsy. And it's beneath you to litter.

It is one of the major islands in Mercedes that was previously a resort for foreigners alone. Now it is already being offered to Filipinos though it lacks facilities and amenities. It looks similar to Anawangin and would definitely have a lot of potential if developed by the local government.

Apuao Grande Island was the fist famous Island Resort in Camarines Norte before Calagas Island. it has big golf course and and has an airport for chartered plane. it has also a white sand and the beach has pine trees that added to the qualities of the island.

I'ved been here last summer and I was captivated by the beauty and calmness of the place. The beach is just perfect! It's still undeveloped which made it more beautiful and interesting. There's no hotel here. You have to pitch for your tent.

I was invited by my friends from Biyahe Lokal (search their facebook) and they arranged everything. From the bus rides, boat rides, for the tents, and the food! I dont have to worry about anything. All I have to do is relax :)

There's electricity in the island ran by a generator. Lights off is usually 10PM. It's quite an experience because since theres no electricity and faint phone signal, theres a lot of time to talk, mingle, tell jokes and stories... things that gadgets are not needed. What we did here, we drank (as in a lot of booooze) , we ate (seafood galore, all the grilled fish we want!), we swam.., snorkling... got our tan... we had the time of our lives..

This is really a wonderful beach. Still undeveloped but well kept. Try contacting Yani or Jed thru Byahe Lokal for more details and pricing on how to get here.
