Nous avons passer un moment d'anthologie, sous une pluie battante la plus grande partie du parcours, notre guide et propriétaire des chevaux nous mets à l'aise, plein d'humour et d'amour des équidés. Un moment parfait, sur des sites paradisiaque.

As a first timer on a horse the explanations were a bit scarce. The 90min tour from 3pm to 4.30pm was very lovely though. Unlike the other comments we did not get to speak with him much, which was a bit disappointing.

We booked this experience through our hotel, Aguas Claras, and we enjoyed it immensely. Riding along the beach and through the forest alternately was refreshing, but watch out for low-hanging branches! Our guide, Raul, was amazing and loves horses. All of his horses are rescues, and through love and care, they learn to live and trust again, which is truly touching. The horses are very well-behaved, excellently cared for, and were suitable to those of us with limited experience.

Great experience for our family! 2.5hr tour. Raul was an amazing guide and with the help of his son also we felt very safe and cared for. It was a lovely relaxing way to enjoy the stunning Caribbean coast. Horses are very loved and well taken care of. Raul had lots of great stories and knows tons both about horses and the area! Definitely recommend Raul as your guide, thank you!

In eerste instantie was er iets mis gegaan met de reservering maar dit werd geweldig opgelost door Ivonne.
We hebben een geweldige mooie tocht gehad van 2,5 uur over het strand en door de bossen. Veel dieren gezien en mooie natuur.
De paarden zien er goed verzorgt uit en iedereen kan ze berijden, ook als je geen ervaring hebt.

My friend and I enjoyed the 2.5 hour beach/jungle ride which I recommend for those with some riding experience. We stopped halfway through the trip for a break and bottle of water. Raul was an experienced, gentle, and kind tour guide. He has been working with horses all of his life and understands the personality and ability of each horse and matches the rider accordingly. The ride travels through a beautiful stretch of beach and jungle and was very enjoyable with just three in our group. I definitely recommend Caribe! Thank you, Raul!!

One of the best ways to see the local scenery. My wife and I have visited Puerto Viejo 3 times and this was such a highlight. Caribe Horse rescue and rehabilitation center is truly for horse lovers. They take great care of their animals and are genuine.
We took a private tour and we loved it! We did the beach and jungle. We went pretty far out towards Punta Uva. We saw monkeys and sloths and other beautiful wildlife while walking.
The horses were fit to our experience level. This was nice because we honestly love being able to have a little fun. We got to run a little with them. I would have liked to have been able to run and play with them a little more but the beach was full of a lot of people. My horse Polar was so good. Listened and minded my every move. I easily could have taken him out on my own no problem.
Our guide Jimmy was fantastic. He was informative and had a love for the area like we do. It was nice to be able to talk about the old days and ways when we visited 5 years ago and what’s all changed. He spoke great English but let me practice my Spanish as well. I appreciate that since I don’t get to use it much.
Over all I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a bit of adventure.
We trotted through the waves at the shoreline, along a jungle trail and even stopped for a rest and gave the horses some shade and a snack.

This tour was amazing!!!!! The staff was so friendly. I have grown up riding but my boyfriend hadn’t ridden before. Our guide did a great job of making sure we both got the most out of our tour. The horses were sweet and happy and I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting!

About the rates, it depend of the tour that you would like to reserve, for example the price for the 1.5h tour is 50dollarsUS per person, the 2.5h tour 75dollarsUS per person, there are also swimming tour or full day tour (that include lunch and beverage)... in any case, you can found all the informations about our tours and rates in our web site or contact us and we'll answer you as soon ad possible.
