I have experienced several dive operators in Sodwana. Pisces is my favourite. They really care about their guests and make sure they have a good time.
Also in 2023 they are going strong.
Pisces is a small family owned and run company with dedicated super friendly people like Louis, Anna, Paul, Savanna, Naide etc . This makes it a better experience than te large companies that have a more factory approach.
Especially when diving with kids the Pisces approach to diving is great as there will be no pressure making it uncomfortable for the kids as well.
Also safety is important for Pisces, you can sense this in the small but important details.
Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic time! Kids were very nervous, but wete sailing though, with these excellent group of Master Divers. Most definitely coming back to Pisces. Thank you Richard and your amazing team.

Wow, what an awesome experience. We are family of 5 and all completed our Open Water Sea dives with Pisces in Sodwana. As we had done our pool dives in CT they still put us in the pool for a session to check we knew our stuff. We found them professional, super friendly & attentive. Most importantly we found the instructions clear to understand & so were able to follow them under the water. I was nervous to start but was always encouraged with care and left loving the experience. Our son went on to complete his Advanced Divers which he loved. Pisces always made an effort to take you to different dive spots wanting to give you a great experience and always pointed out different fish or things of interest.
We can't recommend Pisces enough and thank Anna & Chris in particular for going the xtra mile for us and making everything possible. Louis for being a great skipper and helping me onto the boat every time:)

Pisces Divers was a great diving school for our teenage daughter. The instructors, Chris and Anna, were ever attentive and helpful. The equipment was first class, and the diving in Sodwana superb, as always. Definitely recommended

The team made what would have already been a magical experience in and of itself something even more special. They maintained a fun, personal, relaxed and highly professional safe space throughout the course which allowed us to learn at our own pace, ask questions often, and really enjoy the learning experience. Despite the relaxed atmosphere, the process was well-organised and never felt out of control or too casual - the service was still high-quality - and there was a great balance of fun customer experience and making sure we were learning everything we needed to know (and more - they could answer so many questions about the wildlife too!). The team also have great rapport and clear trust in each other, which helped us trust them! When first arriving in Sodwana, I was immediately told I'd booked with the best skipper in town (Louis), and I believe it.
The dives themselves were beyond beautiful, and I am so grateful to the team for opening up such a wonderful world to us. Thank you Chris, Ace, Paul, Louis, and Anna!

Me and my 2 children went for 2 DSDs. It was absolutely worth the while. Martin and Josh were very professional and did everything to make our dives something to remember

Had a terrible time with Picses. Louis picked us up and our gear but started driving off whilst i was still climbing over the dive cylinders to sit down. He seemed to be angry with us before collecting us.
Driving with customers still finding seating with cylinders piled in the back put us all at risk.
He later sent out a Whasapp message saying that customers must not ask to be collected unless there are 3 or more. There were 3 of us.
The new boat has two large boxes at the back. There is not enough space and we were constantly told to get to the back of the boat. I landed up kitting up on the boxes with difficulty and was then shouted at to mind the fuel line. I am not sure where we are supplosed to kit up as we all have to stay at the back of the boat, but there is not enough space for everyone.
I also dont normally get shouted at by the skipper as though i am an irritating toddler.
You are not allowed to ask for help onto the boat. There is a horse stirup to climb on, but everyone is crowded on the back of the boat so getting back onto the boat is a challenge. The stirup was not hanging over after one of our dives so we floated next to the boat for a long time.
The pontoon is blown up rock hard which makes it high, a challenge to get up.
When launching, there is no stopping to hand out life jackets. These are flung at the customers during the launch. This seemed unsafe and not something i have encountered before.
There is no boat safety talk before launching. I thought this was a mandatory thing, i stand to be corrected, perhaps other skippers are over cautious.
Sodwana has been my happy place for a very long time. We go there 5 times per year, but Picses left a bitter taste after going with them which upset me as i have always felt wellcome and safe at Sodwana, until diving with Picses.
Their boat layout does not allow for that amout of divers on the boat, and i felt as though it was inconvenient for them to have us, even though we were paying customers.

I can’t recommend Pisces highly enough. I recently completed my PADI Open Water with them in Sodwana Bay and had the best experience. The Pisces team were incredibly welcoming and treated me like family, and my instructors Martin and Josh were excellent - full of kindness, patience, encouragement and lots of humour 😃
The reefs at Sodwana are really beautiful with a wide variety of corals and sea life, and the Pisces team will go out of their way to take you to the best spots.
Thank you to Anna, Martin, Josh, Chris, Paul, Louis, Rogan and the rest of the team for a really special holiday. I can’t wait to go back!

I have been diving with Louis and the team from Pisces Diving Charter in Sodwana since 1996. I did my very first sea dive with them and have subsequently done in excess of 300 dives with them. They have always gone out of their way to make every dive a memorable one. Eveything works every time ! I cannot recommend them enough.

We have dived at Sodwana for many years and through a recommendation of a friend, decided to dive with Pisces this time around. What a great team, maybe smaller than some of the other operators but in our view, better, due to their attention to detail, personal service, great instructors and intimate knowledge of the Sodwana reefs.
The dives we did were all very chilled, and what's great is that there is no feeling of being rushed to get the next boat of divers out, and this makes the Pisces experience all the more memorable.
Highly recommend Pisces if you are diving at Sodwana
