May be some of the group members who wants a nice place to visit for a day trip during weekend… will find this post useful…
Place - Surendrapuri - India’s only mythological park.
Distance - around 100 km from anywhere in Hyderabad west (Gachibowli etc..)- close to 2 hours drive during weekend.
Road condition - extremely good- mainly through Outer Ring Road.
Entry ticket- 350 rupees ( children of 5 years or below will not be charged).
Why you should visit ?
All our mythological stories explained with idols, replicas of all famous temples of India is present here… visiting this museum alone can be a complete course on - Ramayana, Mahabharata, Puranas…. A must visit place for our children and our parents… they will just love it.
Caution- it may get very hot and you may tired walking this huge open museum.
Food - you will get plenty of food, cold drinks etc..inside. (Still carry water).

Kunda Satynarayana Kaladhamam also known as Suredrapuri is located on the way to Yadadri temple in Yadadri town of Telangana, which is spread across 17 acres. It is located 10 kms away from Bhongiri and 2 km before and Bhagavata important scenes are witness here inside this museum
3. Saptalokas: Bramhalok, Vishnulok, Shivalok, Nagalok, Indralok, Yamalok (Narakalok), and Patalalok are created here to have feel of the same

It's a mythological place that describe the Ramayana and The Mahabharatas epics with beautiful sculptures and statues. My son was so interested to learn the stories behind them. Overall its a great experience and it really increased my son's curiosity about Ramayana and Mahabharat. It's a must visit.

This is a very beautiful place. It takes approximately an hour drive Hyderabad. Its like a theme park subjected over Hindu religious. They have imitated the important scenes form epics like Mahabharat, Ramayan etc.. Full of information with interest for kids.

Very Informative center with all the stoies of bhagavatham, ramayanam, mahabaratam with picutre visuals. For kids is very helpful and they enjoy too.

The place is located near the popular pilgrimage center Yadagiri Gutta, about an hours drive from Hyderabad. This particular place was not very high on our itinerary but we decided to visit it, after reading the online review. However, on entering, we were delighted on seeing, what was on offer.
The entry charge appears bit steep, at the initial instance, but feels justified, later on. The photography is allowed using mobile, on payment of fees.
this is a theme park based on Hindu Religious belief. The place has replicas of all the important and famous temple; scenes from Ramayan, Mahabharat; scenes from life of Shri Krishna and Lord Hanuman; scenes associated with Hindu religious stories.
The upkeep of the place and displays is excellent. The walking track, measuring about 3 Kms overall, is well marked. Amenities such as canteen and washrooms are available inside.
During our visit, the place had very few visitors and it was an absolutely pleasurable experience to visit this place. Suggestion for the visitors is to keep the mobile battery fully charged, if they intend to take photos, as there are ample opportunities for the same.

Yes, you can do photoshoot provided you take the permission from the office by mail or letter. The need of a good reason for the photoshoot is necessary. I would recommend to visit their website and write a mail to them with clear reason.

Can we drive in our own car inside? Or, is there a wheelchair facility? My parents are 80+ and my mother cannot walk/climb much.
