great little place i found off a back road, ladies were lovely and the price was excellent, had a sauna room and private rooms.

Not your average strip mall or parlor right under a guesthouse or house location. Inside Soi 6 just barely off Chareanprathet Rd, you'll find a lovely orange store that could fit quite a few people.
Some people look for the mountain farmer's daughter with arms that are bigger than my waist to wage war on their back. I'm not nearly strong or flexible enough for that. This is a nice, relaxing Thai massage yet still has some pressure to work out those muscles. The lovely ginger tea afterwards is very soothing as well.
Worth the step up from the basement budget (As of April 2012, 250 baht for an hour of Thai massage) for the friendly service and locale.

My friend and I went to several spas in the Night Bazaar area and I thought the Heaven Hut provided good value. We had a 2.5 hour Thai Massage/Foot Massage/ Head and Shoulder Massage package for 600Baht ($20). The Thai massage area is air conditioned so it was a welcome respite from the heat. This is not a hotel spa, so don't expect any frills, but the sheets, mat and Thai pjs they give you were clean and it was a perfectly good massage, so I'll take that any day. I also received an oil massage from the same woman on a different day, and thought she did a really good job. Be warned, this particular massage is not for the modest. The sheet covering my body was removed once the massage began. If you are with a friend and you are both receiving Thai massage, the therapists talk a LOT to each other while they are working on you, so if you are looking for complete tranquility, this might not be a good pick for you. The first day I was there, I accidentally left my watch on the table. My therapist went searching for me in the streets of Chiang Mai to return my expensive watch. I thought that was pretty awesome, too.
