Staying at Earth Energies Sanctuary was such a welcomed treat for my body and soul. Being city folk, it was such a pleasant change to be transported to this beautiful retreat surrounded by lush nature. The cabin was beautifully furnished, comfortable (think Netflix and all the creature comforts) and the views from the backyard were just out of this world. We also got to do a bush walk to explore the property and its local flora and fauna, which I really enjoyed!
We spent half a day with Marie doing treatments that we’ve never tried before. This is not your run-of-the mill massage or body wraps. The treatments comprised of infrared chromotherapy, floatation therapy, zero balance (body pressure realignment) and finished off with hypnotherapy. I wasn’t sure what to expect initially but I ended the half-day session feeling light and deeply relaxed.
Meals were all prepared by a chef and served in the cabin – all I had to do was to pick from the menu, then heat and dish them onto the dining table! It was delicious and the variety was great.
All in all, a splendid and unforgettable experience. I wish I could bring the massive bathtub and that amazing view home! I will miss Marie and our chats as she was just so lovely and incredibly kind to us. Highly recommend this to anyone who is seeking a chic, relaxing retreat.
