北港的老街和巷弄都彎彎曲曲又小，
可是隱在巷弄裡的是一家家沒有招牌的店，
都是高朋滿座，
讓人想ㄧㄧ嚐鮮，
伴手禮有百年老店大餅，
雲林花生糖，
和麻油，
我還特地買了一大袋的地瓜餅，
又香又脆！

北港老街应该大家都耳熟能详!
今年2月造访时发现一家门市上方招牌是(L.D.S.3C配件专卖店)的前方小摊位的猪血糕,
在此特别介绍是好吃到不行,从未吃过猪血糕的外层抹上花生粉是有颗粒的,(不是一般粉状)口感特佳,首推!!

北港老街有古巷.庙街.美食.农特产.绿地(有9座大小公园或花园).环镇溪流.河堤廊道与特色桥梁.飘逸古今音乐.北港是一座有400年历史好逛的优质古镇..喔！还有牛墟..是台湾常民的生活博物馆.

香火袅袅的妈祖面前，一条街，有鸭肉羹，有煎盘粿，有圆仔汤，有传统糕饼舖，一家一家店连成风情万种的北港老街，大概只缺算命先生的屈指一算了。

I have about 5 hour to spare in Yunlin and later self drive to Tainan. Kindly adivise places to visit in Yunlin. Thanks.

go to Beigang and see the Mazu Temple. Walk the streets of Old Beigang and find the one store I call "the candyman" it's got a little statue of the Owner out front, and the guy makes the candy made from rice flour and sugar. So good. Buy some peanuts at a stall too. the Black skinned roasted peanuts I'll buy and bring home to USA every trip to Beigang.

I would like to ask is it easy to get to Bei Gang Old Street from Yunlin Station? If so, how do I get there from Yunlin Station? I am planning on taking THSR from Zuoying Station and get off at Yunlin Station. Any feedbacks will be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.

Didn't try the THSR Method to go to the Bei Gang Old Street.
But I did notice that there is a THSR Shuttle Bus that goes to the TRA Douliu Station.
The bus stops at the same area that I took the Tourist Bus at the TRA Douliu Station.
Just that the timing of the Shuttle Bus from the THSR is more in frequency but not the tourist Shuttle bus.
I traveled from the TRA Douliu Station area out to Bei Gang Old Street.
Never tried from the Yunlin THSR area.
I also reference the THSR website for the direction on deciding if I should go by TRA Douliu Station or the THSR method.
The THSR website will show the information on the shuttle bus.
It also depends on where you intending to book your hotel stay too.
Not too sure what public bus number to take to the Bei Gang Old Street.
There is a bus company behind the TRA Douliu Station too.
Else maybe taking a taxi is another option but it will be more expensive.
The public transport accepts the yoyo card. It can be tap when boarding and alighting the bus.
