7月的見晴步道，涼爽宜人；9月的見晴步道，彷若置身天然冷氣中，休息時需要薄外套相伴。

2021年2月
位於太平山遊樂區的見晴懷古步道，是沿著舊有森林鐵道興建的森林步道，沿途風景優美空氣清新，一般人的步程只需40分鐘來回，行走起來甚是愉快。

當日早上下過雨，隱蔽在林間的舊木材鐵軌道，地面泥濘，有些人的鞋子像是泡在泥巴似的。路不寬而且距離短，不算難走，但可以遠眺的位置不多，慕名而來遊客多，由於林道樹木茂密，所以無法感受到清風拂面的感覺。只有一條路來回，入口停車場很小，即使平日也常客滿。

2020年7月 • 独自旅游
這是僅900公尺的小型步道，非常適合全家大小到訪，也是來太平山莊遊玩必來的景點。這次因為山區下大雨且下霧，導致鐵軌步道濕滑泥濘，有些不好走！但雨霧中也是另一種風情啊…當然晴天會更棒，可以眺望對面山巒美景，步道易行走。沒關係留個伏筆，讓我有機會再次來訪啦…（∩▽∩）

It’s inside the TaiPing mountain area, very beautiful and nostalgia trail. Went here on a rainy and foggy day, but still very nice for a light trekking. The access to here is not so convenient, join some bus tour from Taipei or YiLan could be a easier option.

If you are already in Taiping shan, then this is a must do trail. Together with the Cuifeng Hu lake trail.
Get to see the sea of clouds on this trail if weather permits. Otherwise mist can cover everything even at 2pm.
But moss covered forests go, if you are not in Taiwan and looking to visit magical moss covered forests, Yakushima in Japan which we visited this year in June is more spectacular.
But since we are visiting Yilan, then Id say Tai Ping Shan and this Jian Qing trail is worth visiting.
If I had options over my time, then Autumn is a better time or 梅花 viewing season but then it will be jammed.
It wasnt crowded when we were there. At times, you feel like you have forest to yourself.
