This park sits about three blocks from the Taichung rail station (not the high speed rail one). It features a small lake with an old sugar factory facility -- apparently an office building -- on the one bank along with various trails and places to enjoy the scenery.
Yongquan Park seems to be fairly new, well-maintained, and regularly used by neighborhoods joggers, etc.
The old sugar factory facility has been converted into a tourist-friendly commercial area. It had not opened yet for the day during one recent visit, but it appeared to have small restaurants and shops. Anyone looking for to see remnants of a sugar factory production line will be disappointed, since this location seems to only have an office or logistics center for a sugar factory. There is an actual former sugar production facility at the YueMei Sugar Factory in Houli, a few dozen miles away.

因為到三井lalaport逛街，發現台中東區的歷史建築帝國製糖廠，旁邊是湧泉公園為以前的台糖湖濱生態園區，湧泉公園外圍現在規劃有環湖步道，中間湖泊擁有豐富生態的星泉湖，滿月指輪水上步道，眺望塔等。滿月指輪水上步道，整個圓型環狀步道佇立湖中很狀觀也好特別，中間突出的觀景平台也是一個拍照的好地方。在湧泉公園走走逛逛可以有不少的新發現，是一個很有設計感也很有創意的散步拍照景點。
