九フンに行くなら必ず寄りたいと思ってリストアップしてました。実際に行ってみると余りにもお店の小さいことにびっくりしました（笑）気をつけて歩かないと必ず通り過ぎます。我々が行った時は、団体ツアーと思いますが韓国の方達がお店の前に陣取っていて何やら説明中。また、お店の人が千と千尋のメロディをオカリナで実演もしていて、結構な人だかりでした。ただ、オカリナそのものに興味を示す人は少ない様で、実演が終わるとさーっと人の群れが移動したので、ようやく中に入れました。当たり前ですが、オカリナはちゃんと音も出て演奏出来ますが、可愛くてどこかノスタルジックな置き物として、旅のお土産にピッタリです。豚と猫のオカリナ（各NT $260）を買いました。

Como un sueño. Es asombroso que exista un lugar tan especial. De entrada, es asombroso que en un lugar tan pequeño como Jiufen haya tantas tiendas de ocarinas. Todas tienen mucho encanto, pero esta se lleva la palma. Creo que es lo que más me gustó de Jiufen.

The Taiwan Ocarina is like no other shop I'd been to. They have plenty of different type and size of ocarinas. The instrument with very nice sound. They also have the book that guide you how to play and a lot of song in it. My daughter love these and learnt to play within 1 hour.

是誠陶笛Taiwan Ocarinaは九份の基山街、九份老街バス亭近くの入口から入って1~2分のところにあります。
ひとくちにオカリナと言っても色々なタイプがあるんですね。
ご主人の演奏も印象的でした。

店主親切有禮,熱情試吹不同款式的陶笛及歌曲,讓途經的遊客都被吸引入內參觀,很多不同造型,不同顏色,送禮自用佳品。

The interior of this shop is unique- the space looks as if it were carved into coral or some naturalistic object. Parts of the exterior reflect this aesthetic, making the shop really stand out from the street.
Inside the shop along the walls, and parallel to them, are display cases filled with thousands of ocarina ranging from the size of a pendant to a statuette or a sizable piece of fruit. Shapes range from the traditional ocarina to a basic medallion to figures of Taiwan, to other musical instruments, to several animals like cats, frogs, owls, etc.
Each piece is made by the artisans who run the shop and who continue making ocarina right in front of you. When we visited, there were two guys working, though they'd put down what they're doing if you needed assistance or wanted to look at something more closely. While some ocarina are already boxed, they can package any pieces hanging in display cases for you to take home. Smaller pieces are obviously less costly, but larger pieces might not necessarily break the bank. And all the pieces are playable- smaller ocarina producing higher-pitched notes, and larger ones producing lower-pitched notes (as with most any other musical instrument).
When you buy an ocarina, you're given a booklet that has instructions on how to play, along with some basic pieces you can learn. However, the booklet is in Chinese/Taiwanese, so there might be a language barrier in place. Otherwise, I'm sure there's plenty of resources online, or you can just have fun playing the ocarina and exploring different notes.
