이전의 가족 여행에서 타이베이 명소 중 국립고궁박물관, 동물원, 마오콩, 중정기념관, 국부기념관 등 여러 곳을 다녀왔기 때문에 아이들과 어딜 가볼까 고민을 하다가 방문했어요. 가까운 곳에 천문과학관도 있어서 함께 둘러보면 좋을 것 같습니다.
저희는 시간 관계상 과학교육원+시립놀이공원 이렇게 두 곳 다녀왔어요.
타이중의 자연사박물관, 식물원도 훌륭했던 기억이 있는데 국립대만과학교육원은 규모나 시설이 정말 훌륭했습니다. 아이들이 직접 체험할 수 있는 것들도 많아서 시간 가는 줄 몰랐어요. 형님들 관람 중에 지루해하면 어린 조카는 지하에 있는 키즈존에서 놀도록 할 생각이었는데 함께 다녀도 될 만큼 아이까지 좋아했네요.
하늘을 나는 자전거 도전해보고 싶었는데 무섭다고 다들 거부해서 다음 방문을 기약했습니다.

小学生位の子供達には、最適なエリアです。雨で街歩きも難しかったため、訪れましたが、これが大正解！説明は中国語と英語のみですが、子供達には問題なし。東京の科学技術館より大きく、新しい施設で、ローカル感の台北を楽しめました。
食事するところが、館内のモスバーガーとスナック？のみで、大混雑。長蛇の列であきらめましたが、何か簡単に食べるものを、持参したほうが良いかもしれません。

From the outside this new science center looks pretty cool with its impressive 13 floors of exhibits! Disappointingly, when we visited in early November at around 3pm - there were less than 10 visitors. We just walked over from the amusement park next door, literally just 3-minutes walk away, and the park was filled with school children even when we were leaving.
While it's true you can do some hands-on interaction with some of the exhibits, most of those were closed when we were there at 3pm. What's left were some boring ones. And sorry for being honest here - we saw many volunteers sleeping on almost every floor we visited. While we should all appreciate these kind volunteers' giving of their time, but it's a little sad to see that even they are bored too with the lack of visitors. Even the shop and cafe all closed early. We didn't see where all the cool rides and shows supposedly were.
Lifts were super confusing as they were trying to conserve energy, or they closed early. Four out of five lifts not working on most floors so we had a bit of navigating to do to get around, and eventually we just got out of the building after an hour or so.

I brought my 9 years old son. Perfect age for this museum. Exhibits are mostly hands on. The displays are bilingual. We spent about 3 hours there. If you like, make it a fun day and just walk to the amusement park across the street. At the end of the day, go to the Shilin night market. All around the same area.

We spent about 3-4 hours visiting the 3rd to 6th floors and we couldn’t visit all we wanted to see. This was covered by the general admission fee. The exhibits were very interesting and fun and it takes a while to properly go through each of them. Great for young children.

中学生以下の子供を持つ親でしたらこの場所では短時間楽しむことができると思います。ですが周りにはミニ遊園地、プラネタリウム、大きな公園もあるので、このエリアに行けば一日家族で楽しむ事ができます。

館内は吹き抜けになっていたり、いろいろの施設があったりと、子供を中心に親も楽しめるような博物館です。東京・九段の科学博物館もっとを大きくしたような感じでしょうか。
