After taking in the view of Wulai Falls on the ropeway, you descend and climb up a steep staircase to the park, but it's quite strenuous, so it may be a tough place for those with weak legs. You can walk around the park at a leisurely pace in about an hour. It's definitely worth a visit.

This attraction involves climbing a lot of slippery stairs, which are not suitable for elderly people. The stairs will take you passed some abandoned restaurants, which are quite spooky. The cable car is quite tatty, it will take you across the river. As it was raining, we did not participate in any other form of activity. Because of the guidance of the New Taipei City, most of Wulai has improved greatly in recent years, it's time for Yu Hsien Park to get an upgrade

If you go to Wulai, remember to stop by this old fashioned amusement park. Although it is old and needs some maintenance, i think it is still worth visiting. I really liked it because of the environment. Cant imagine how they were able to build it at that time. Dont set high expectations. Just enjoy the water falls, nature and peaceful environment.
Remember to bring umbrella and good shoes.
You can spend up to 2-3hrs in the park.

需要搭乘纜車才能進出，作為門面的纜車是整個樂園最新穎的設施了！在交通這麼不方便的地方建設想必不易，造訪時正在更新步道樓梯的扶手，很多地方也荒廢著待整建，難以想像從前的繁華，不過在這深山之中享受原始的寧靜也還不錯，飄雨路滑走得很小心，有咖啡簡餐店和小吃啤酒吧可以解解纏，工作人員都親切熱情。

We thought it was a great idea to check out an amusement park that lasted 50 years, since it must be pretty awesome for it to be in business for so long! We thought wrong. Here's what we experienced:
1. Getting there - past the Wulai Old Street, up the mountain via the mini Wulai Scenic Train, walking past another stretch of street and up a dingy flight of stairs (the eerily abandoned restaurant we passed by on this stairs should have been a red flag but we ignored it), up the oldest cable car that goes above the waterfall (ok, this part was alright), was where the nightmare for our weak legs started. Never could have imagined that an amusement park so popular would be up a few hundred steps of stairs.
2. What to see - so... since this is way up on the mountain there's supposed to be many wholesome outdoor activities for the family (think 1970s). I really don't mind some old school rides and having some sort of forest zip lines or even trying some archery. At least some semblance of an amusement park would be good! But all of the above weren't available and were "closed for maintenance" when we were there in early November. Sure, it's winter season, but it was 20+ degrees celsius, how can the park be THIS closed??! Only a 30NT 3-minute kiddy bumper car ride, a dirty sand pit playground and boat rowing in a small pond were the only activities available. And you can feed some ducks in their mouldy pond, if the feed-dispensing machine works. My kids were utterly disappointed especially after all the encouragement and dreams of a cool old-school amusement park while they trudged up the few hundred steps of stairs to witness such disappointment at the top. Sigh.
It's sad enough that they got hit by the typhoon in 2016, but it seems like they're not pumping money to improve this place anymore. And probably not enough locals who stayed back after the typhoon who are willing to work here too. We do hope it gets better!

Fue una pena llegar en una mala época del año. Siendo finales de octubre el día oscureció enseguida por lo que no pudimos disfrutar de las vistas. Y además siendo temporada baja la mayoría de las actividades no estaban disponibles.
A simple vista parecía un parque normal y corriente con actividades que más bien disfrutarían niños. Para adultos lo más disfrutable es pasear por el área.

這是我們第三次住雲仙樂園，前兩次都是在五月的螢火蟲季時去住一天，這樣在晚上賞螢後，就地沐浴休息比較方便輕鬆，隔天再從鳥鳴聲中蘇醒，早餐附贈山景佐芬多精～
這次在不同以往的季節～夏蛙季，而且還住兩天，想看能不能看到更多的蛙蛙（事實證明，真的有！而且比起五月真是超多的！走路都要小心別踩到），也想在這3天2夜的行程，體驗「隱居山林」的感覺～
大概是為了環保節能，而且山上也比都市涼爽許多，咖啡廳或餐廳都沒有開冷氣，對我來說是還好，開著窗也有山裡的風，芬多精和負離子MAX！
進房後，發現這次的房間景觀也超棒！在房間內就可以聽見潺潺溪水聲跟蛙鳥鳴唱的協奏曲，看出去則可以看到小橋跟景觀湖～
順帶一提，我真的超愛雲仙樂園裡面的景觀！彷彿在動物星球或Discovery電視節目上才看得到，很有「失落的昔日樂園，卻是自然生態的新樂土」的感覺呀！我每次來都很有一步步踏進桃花仙境的感覺！
雖然很多人造建築物失去了原本的功能，但是四周仍都打掃得很乾淨。乍看雜草繁花茂盛的園區步道，當仔細觀察，還是看得出來哪些是有常在整理、可以探險的「小徑」；而直接堆放在草地上或走道兩旁的落葉枯幹，是要維持生態系完整，先讓蝸牛有得吃，這樣螢火蟲寶寶們有充足的蝸牛吃、順利成長，我們才有美美的螢火蟲看唷～
總而言之，雲仙樂園真的很適合喜好親近自然生態的人們，尤其我覺得雲仙樂園彌足珍貴的地方就是，不僅生態資源豐盛，大自然裡的動植物小夥伴們都想來住、繁衍子子孫孫，而且不像登山野營，在這裡是很安全、可以放心遊玩的！最需要注意的，就是感官一定要打開，仔細深刻地觀察身處的環境，不要任意驚動打擾了這裡原本的居民囉！
