A beautiful, streamlined white cable-stayed bridge. When viewed from the central observation deck, its shape resembles angel wings.

This pedestrian bridge is convenient for traveling between the Art Center at Pier 2 of Kaohsiung Port and the commercial area on the opposite bank. The unique streamlined white shape is beautiful and makes for great photos both day and night. There is an observation deck in the center of the bridge, and from here the white shape looks like angel wings. I especially recommend it at night, when the night view reflected on the water is beautiful.

Unique architecture

Take the LRT and stop at Dayi Pier 2. The whole surrounding area at Dayi Pier 2 is very nice. The bridge have a very unique architecture. You can climb up the stairs to go on top of the bridge. Worth the visit.

Kaohsiung Port’s new specialty!

Kaohsiung Port No. 3, between the Bo'er Art Zone and the Penglai Commercial Zone, has had great difficulties in moving between the two sides as there is no direct road despite development on both sides in the 21st century. Ultimately, a plan was made for the bridge installation in 2017, construction began in September of the following year, and was completed on July 6, 2020, making it a new facility representing the port. This pedestrian and bicycle-only bridge makes it easy to travel between the two districts. In particular, an event is held every day at 3 p.m. (7 p.m. from Friday to Sunday) where the bridge rotates for 30 minutes.

Beautiful bridge linking mainland to Pier Art 2 area

Basically this bridge provide the short link across the sea, from the main side across to where all the shops & activities of Pier 2 are. Beautifully designed bridge.

It is more convenient to travel between the two sides

The "Grand Harbor Bridge" was only opened in July 2020
Can connect the two sides of the Pier 2 Art Zone
Very convenient to travel to and from
The white appearance is quite beautiful
You can climb to the second floor of Dagang Bridge to enjoy the scenery
There will be a horizontal rotating bridge performance at 7:00 pm on holidays
But without the blessing of lights and music, it wouldn’t be impressive enough.

Great bridge to visit

Very nice pedestrian bridge. It is very nice to walk on and take the spiral staircase up a few levels to look out on the canal and part of the city.

Rotating bridge across the third channel of Kaohsiung Port

The Dagang Bridge spans the Third Ship Channel of Kaohsiung Port and is a rotating bridge. After rotating 90 degrees, it can maintain the passage of ships in the Third Ship Channel. On the north side of the Dagang Bridge is the Pier 2 Art Zone, and on the south side is the Penglai Commercial Port Warehouse Group. They are now Kaohsiung's cultural and creative tourism centers, with many tourists on holidays. The "Taiwan IP ‧ Kaohsiung Original" event uses popular LINE sticker characters originally created by Kaohsiung creators to create super-large inflatable devices that float in the Kaohsiung Port area. There is also a "Cat Claw" sitting on a lifebuoy eating popsicles and drinking bubble milk tea by the Dagang Bridge.

Beautiful bridge

Beautiful bridge which spans between pier 2 and banana pier. It seems to me that at different distance, it appears differently. From afar, a ribbon which bridges the space between the two piers, and as you get near, looks like a crushing swan. Finally when you are up close with the center mast, it looks like a phoenix soaring into the sky. I am probably reading too much into this, but that what makes art fun!
