Simplement fermé, et aucune trace d'activité récente. Leur page Facebook n'a d'ailleurs eu aucune mise à jour depuis 2016... si ça peut éviter un détour à certains. Dommage, ça avait l'air chouette

My husband & I visited Connemara Marble with our Gate 1 Travel tour group.
This is a family run business and our lady guide took us into the work area where she briefly described the various raw materials that were on display and showed us how they were cut and made into numerous products.
We then strolled by the guys that were either polishing some of the marble pieces or grinding and smoothing them.
Next, we went into the gift shop where everything made from marble is on display.
You name it and it is made of marble! I purchased 3 of the sterling silver bracelets that have 5 different marble stones. A surprise gift for my 2 daughters and myself!
Also, I purchased several of the green marble clocks...gorgeous, I might add for some of my friends back home.
Finally, we ventured across the busy street with the help and guidance of our coach driver to the antique store to use the restroom and browse also.
There were several rooms filled with various antiques and memorabilia.
This was an excellent stop along our tour through Ireland with Gate 1 Travel.
I highly recommend it.

This shop / family run business has lots of souvenirs and gifts for every pocket staff are very helpful and friendly and it’s a lovely place to learn and watch local marble being polished and made into beautiful pieces

Our coach stopped here for a comfort stop on our way back to Galway. It is a small family business making gifts from Galway marble. We had an interesting talk first in the factory and then browsed the gift shop, I was tempted to purchase a bracelet, no refreshments there, but toilet facilities are in their building opposite.

I bought some Connemara Marble pieces when I was first in Ireland more than 40 years ago, and they are still lovely. So, when offered a chance to visit the actual "factory," I jumped at it. We got to tour a small workshop, see the many kinds of raw materials they work with, watch an informative video about marble, and they we got to shop the finished products.
If you're looking for some authentic Irish souveners for folks back home, this is a great place to find them. Everything from inexpensive tie tacks and key rings to very expensive and very lovely jewelry. I picked up another sterling silver Cladaugh ring to go with my antique one, this one made with a type of amethyst being minded from the bay. Lovely people, very proud of their work and heritage.

Made purchase while on vacation tour. Was in hurry as bus was getting ready to leave and I was last in line. MY MISTAKE! Purchased:bracelet (120. Euro), bottle opener(25 euro) , pendant (100 euro). I signed credit card slip (TOO QUICKLY) as young lady was chatting with me and wrapping and bagging up items. Threw the slip in my bag and I dashed back to bus. More stops and back to the hotel. Pulled my charge out and found I was charged over 300 euro AND no itemized receipt in my bag. Called credit card company that night while in Ireland. 6 weeks later I'm saddled with almost $140. US dollars THAT I DID NOT SPEND. CONNEMARA MARBLE sent only a copy of the same charge slip I have. No itemized receipt. My word against theirs. Again, my mistake for getting caught up in the moment. BAD BUSINESS. BUYER BEWARE.

I didn’t know what to expect here. It turned out to be an amazing place! The presentation on the different types of marble was fascinating. It was awesome to be able to see them all right there in one place. Staff was so knowledgeable. It was also very interesting to see the jewelry being made. The hardest part of the visit was picking out what I wanted. So many beautiful things! The history and the pictures were also wonderful .You could spend a very long time here.

Went with a tour group. It was an interesting five minute lecture on local marble. I saw people on trip advisor complaining about the prices??! It’s very reasonable. Necklaces for 25€. Bought a cute ring for55€. The staff members were friendly. The young man who spoke with us seemed very passionate about his craft.

We stopped here on a tour. I thought we were visiting the mine area, so I was a bit surprised. The gentleman who told us about the marble was very informative and had an interesting presentation. I purchased a few souvenirs,but they were available other places on the island. Nothing bad, but not certain I would stop again.

De part et d'autre de la route nationale, la fabrique-boutique et le musée-salon de thé du Connemara marble sont très faciles à trouver.
La boutique seul n'est pas intéressante, mais si vous avez la possibilité de suivre la rapide visite des ateliers qui sont juste derrière, ne la ratez pas.
Cela dure un petit quart d'heure (en anglais), on y apprend plein de choses sur les marbres d’Irlande, certains monuments de Galway, de Pennsylvanie et du Connecticut

The distance from Galway to the Connemara visitor centre is about 8 miles. Driving, it would take about 20 minutes on route N59.

I need their address to send back a flawed piece that I purchased in August from their factory. All I have for address is: Clifden Rd., Co. Galway, Ireland
Do they have street numbers and zip codes in Ireland? I looked on their website and can't find any more than I have. I've sent an email about 3 weeks ago, but no response.

On May 3, 2015 we visited Connemara Marble Moycullen and purchased a braclett that had a watch hidden under a beautiful Connemara stone. Unfortunately when I got home I tried it on and it is very very large for me. I am so disappointed because I loved this braclett and am unable to wear it. I would like to exchange it for a smaller size. Has anyone had to exchange something purchased at this store

Hi, I loved your store and was fascinated by the artistry and history of the jewelry. I bought a small round box with a marble top to hold my Dad's wedding ring. He had left it to me when he passed away. His grandfather came from your part of Ireland, so I thought it a fitting tribute.
I was wondering if I could order one of the bracelets that I saw being crafted in your factory. They had a stone of each of the colors of the marble. I wanted to buy one when we were there in Fall 2014, but our tour guide rushed us out to the bus. How would I order one of these bracelets. I live in Virginia in the United States.

It seems you visited the Connemara Marble Visitors' Center in either Galway or Dublin. We visited the one in Galway. And yes, they do have lovely items. If you go to the web site for Connemara Marble, there is address, phone number and e-mail contact info.

Will be staying overnite at Rydges Sydney Airport, then flying out the next day and returning the following day for another overnite stay. Do you have facilities to securely store 2 suitcases for us for the "in-between" nite we will be away?
