This is a must do when in Cozumel! Chef Luis entertained us while learning how to cook! the drinks are constantly flowing and we’re really good ! we had such a great time and will definitely be back again ! you won’t be disappointed!!

We had such a fun class cooking with Chef Luis and Manuel. They made cooking so much fun and it tasted so good. Can’t wait to try this recipe at home. Great time with my sister and friends.❤️

I highly recommend it. Initially, it sounded exactly as described.
They take you by taxi about four miles from the port, and they are upfront about the option to leave anytime, arranging a taxi back for you. It was reassuring to know you weren't stuck on a massive bus for the duration. However, leaving was unnecessary as the event kept me engaged the entire time.
If you enjoy cooking or simply want to be entertained, go. Chef Lous is engaging and funny, and the entire team genuinely wants you to have a great time. When they say the drinks keep flowing, they mean it. We made authentic pork tacos, shrimp cocktail, and a special sweet potato dessert. They are very attentive to allergies, asking upfront and making accommodations as needed.
There were eight stations, each accommodating two people, so 16 participants in total. Most were couples, but a few solo guests like me partnered with others and cooked together. They played music while we cooked, adding to the fun atmosphere.
And yes, the drinks were indeed flowing.

Everything was absolutely fantastic EXCEPT don't expect to ever get the recipes they promise, they never email them to you.

This was fabulous!!! The only negative is no one in our group ever received their recipes. The entertainment while cooking was the best. Food was great. I will do this again.

My husband and I had such an incredible afternoon! Chef Luis has exceptional talent; combining his combined gifts in the culinary with connecting people in joy, laughter and fun. The surroundings are breathtaking. The drinks are unlimited. The food is delicious! We’ll recommend to our friends and family and we’ll do this amazing lollapalooza event again!

We took this excursion from a Princess cruise on March 4th. I couldn't recommend this cooking class any higher. We had such a good time. Chef Luis was so fun and the recipes were delicious. It was a full meal with a dessert. We got as many margarita as we could hold (some people couldn't hold them). There were also non-alcoholic choices. Just today I received the recipes in my email. I'm definitely planning on making them again.

This was my second class, the first was in 2021. Both were fantastic. You learn a 3 course meal, the menu changes so going multiple times is a bonus. The ingredients were fresh and the class is truly hands-on. The drinks (with or without alcohol) are included and free-flowing. Just outside the window is a fabulous view of the ocean and a magnificent pool with dolphins showing off. Once you finish cooking you sit down to enjoy it with perfect view of the ocean and dolphins. The best part of it all is how wonderful Chef Louis orchestrates a fun and lively cooking experience. It’s very obvious that he truly enjoys preparing and teaching a creative menu and absolutely loves being a chef.

Is there a vegetarian option for the cooking class?
I am attending this excursions with the girlfriends in early May and truly hope there will be a vegetarian ingredients to substitute for the meat/fish recipes. Has anyone out there experienced this excursion with a vegetarian?

Just booked and it looks like our time in Cozumel is from 8:30 to all onboard at 4:30. If our class is at 9:30am will we have time to enjoy the pool and just take a taxi back to the ship? I am fine with paying the way back, I just want some pool time.

Yes. They will have another class start about 1 ish. It will give you about an hour to hang at the pool but I found going back and hanging in the ship pool better.

I believe you can get permission for younger travelers. It is a wonderful experience. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did. It was our favorite part of our trip!!
