的酒馆,或巴特雷的酒馆是一个典型的酒吧,我们已经在这里住过几次的朋友一起住在Portnoo,欢迎和这里的食物一直都很棒也很棒。 因为我们去的时候我们总是能获得食物的常客,也许他们预先安排的这家? 别人告诉我这里的厨房只有在八月正式打开, 如果你在这个区域推荐和值得一去

这家酒店提供的最好的鱼和薯条的钱可以买,但是我们发现这的厨房关门了几次了,去别的地方,这是一个遗憾。 好在这里的黑啤酒Turf Fire前的。 台球桌,主板和的大电视上也是很不错的景点DART Sports。 也有很大的停车场。

Expensive chipper food

Booked a table to watch the all Ireland match and have some food. The menu is quite limited . The nice lady that I booked with told us that there would be specials on the menu that evening. However, no specials on that day as they were to busy. I had fish and chips and it was really nice, my husband did not like the chicken burger but that’s really down to a bad choice. The waitress was very nice and helpful but the barmen were unhelpful and grumpy. My main gripe with this place is that they weren’t serving indoors so we had to eat in a cold, draughty shed, the food served on plastic plates and a cardboard box with plastic cutlery and we paid top price for the experience- felt ripped off . AND Covid is not an excuse as we are fully vaccinated and can eat indoors

Great little pub

Lovely little pub to stop for a few drinks and food. Lovely spacious outdoor setting. Great food and service.

Great pub & great food.

Great bar. We arrived on the first night of live music being played in 17 months. Brilliant atmosphere outside sitting only,plenty of heaters and lovely modern outdoor fixtures. Fantastic night. Great staff, great food very generous portions & a very friendly welcome. Thanks Martina, Davie & all at The Tavern we can't wait to come back. X x

Настоящий ирландский паб начинается...

Настоящий ирландский паб начинается с камина! Это горячее сердце заведения, а еще незабываемая атмосфера. В Таверне всегда чувствуешь себя, как дома - тепло, вкусно и уютно благодаря замечательной Мартине. А еще здесь прекрасный Гиннесс и горячий портвейн (hot port). Надеюсь, попасть сюда еще много раз.

Warm Friendly Welcome and great Food

The Tavern, or Barrett's Tavern is a typical Pub, we have been here a couple of times with friends who live in Portnoo, the welcome is always fantastic and and the food also great.

Because we go with regulars we have always got food, maybe they have pre arranged this? i'm told the Kitchen only opens officially in August,

Recommended and worth a visit if your in the area

Great food if it ever open

This place used to serve the best fish and chips that money could buy, but we have found the kitchen closed on a couple of occasions and ended up eating elsewhere, which was a pity. Nice pint of Guinness here in front of the turf fire. Pool table, dart board and sports on the big tv are also good attractions. Large car park too.

An essential local Irish Tavern

We never leave Donegal without a visit to The Tavern. It is an essential asset both for the local Community, and visitors to the area. My friends and family see it as part of the holiday, to eat there if we are anywhere in West Donegal, and the foodie highlight of the visit is the Prawns and Monkfish accompanied by the best chips I've tasted. You might have to 'phone Martina in advance to be sure she is cooking - but believe me - it's worth it!

hospitality beyond belief.

Recently I was part of a bridal party in the local area of Ardara, whist we were having some photos taken on the local at the beach,we decided to have a drink in the bar as we had some time to waste before attending the reception.We were greeted and drinks served with a smile and accompanied with a beautiful bottle of sparkling wine and eight chilled champagne glasses on the house along with two portions of the most beautiful made made chips.The atmosphere and the "craic" in the bar was great, and it made us feel so proud to be Irish as we had visitors from the UK with us who were blown away at such hospitality, after we had our drinks and had freshened up in the sparkling clean toilets, the barmaid announced that we looked in need of a little entertainment before we left and called for the beautiful Nicole, who I believe to be an champion Irish dancer, she then danced a gig and reel for the bride and groom before escorting the bridal party to the cars with an umbrella,as it was a raining. The next day we decided to call to the bar for a meal and we were not disappointed,the food was great and the staff were fantastic again.This place is a little cosy hidden gem.I can not wait to return again . Well done to all the staff in this bar,they have got Irish hospitality,charm and great food and good drink down to a fine art. Thank you so much for a great experience.

whats gone wrong

was here few times before and was great but hey something drastic has happened here .
starter and main was dripping in greese , no kidding it was dripping
no blue cheese dip so i was TOLD i would be having garlic mayo instead
no mayonaise on burger bap , asked for portion and got a dirty squeezy tub plonked on table
i strongly feel the steak was defrosted not fresh and far from tasty
being part of the good food tavern i suggest the shef and owners look into the others that are part of group in dungloe and burtonport and learn how it IS done !
