Mesmerizing Sunsets

Have visited a couple of times of magical sunsets and even found hundred of starfish on the shore once. It is very less crowded and has long and wide shore for a good walk and view.

Dirty Beach

Beach is not maintained. Lot of solid waste and there is no lifeguards. I think lot of cleanliness is required.

Peaceful Beach

Malgund Beach is approximately 3 km from Ganpatipule and is not as crowded as Ganpatipule. Beach is nice with a long stretch for the walks, though the entrance is filled with garbage. There are ample water sport activities which you can try and snack stalls where you can eat Chaat, Vada Pav, Ghavan and drink some coconut water. A lot of properties are nearby where you can stay and have easy accessibility to the beach. If you want to eat a good and authentic lunch or dinner, you can visit below two places :

(1) Ganesh Dhaba: This place is quite close by to Malgund Beach, home-cooked food and very tasty. They make Ghavan on advance orders and they also made Solkadhi on order ( charges based on liters) which I took back with me to Pune. You can contact them: 84199-25476 / 90113-67262 / 81046-96932

(2) Mehendales Swaad Dinning: This place is quite famous as people who are staying in Ganpatipule also come to have their meal over here. On a weekend, it's advisable to call and book your spot in advance. A lot of times due to high rush they have to deny the guests. They also serve Aamras in the offseason which tastes amazing. Contact details you would easily get on Google

Overall a good place and peaceful. A little clean-up of the beach will make a lot of difference.

Nice Beach

The beach is near the Malgund village. It has a wide stretch. Although, being open to all, it was not that clean. It offers some watersport activities as well like banana ride, speed boat etc.

Very Very Clean beach in Ratnagiri city

Amazing place to visit in Ratnagiri. With very clean beach 1.5 km long good for morning cardio or evening sightseeing or to hangout with friends .

Neat and clean beach

The beach is very neat and clean. View from top is really good. Beach had less crowd compared to other near by beaches and that may be the reason for the beach to be clean.

This beach is about a couple of kilometers from the Ganapatiphule and is a lovely place for a morning or evening walk. This beach is relatively less crowded and cleaner than the shore near the temple.

If you want to visit a beach that is not crowded but easily accessible , this beach is for you. The vast expansive beach with its yellowish-black sand is mesmerizing during the sunset. With adventure sports like paragliding as well as all-time favorites such as camel rides available on the beach, there cannot be a better combination: of solitude, of adventure, of beauty..

Clean & beautiful

When we visited this place apparently it was an off season so there no water sport people on the beach which was so relaxing. The beach is pristine, clean and beautiful. You don’t get any food items other than coconut water and tea and that’s why it’s clean!
