We made an advance reservation for a birthday dinner. When we ordered our dinner, the waitress had to run back to get permissions. They forgot about the birthday. Food is good. The atmosphere was superb because of Osaka Castle with illuminating light at night.

We stopped for lunch at the Raspberry Restaurent with Moon Bar and we loved it. The price was less than what you would be in a small restaurant in Dotonbori area and the food was superb. After climbing all the steps to the Osaka Castle, this was a very welcome escape.

It’s an old army installation refurbished into mini mall and cafes/restaurants/attractions such as Illusion Museum and Samurai experience (¥2000 for 20 mins, dress up as Samurai and learn basic moves). In the extreme right corner there’s a free, open showcase of the history of Osaka Castle which was a good alternative summary of the area if you do not wish to go to the castle museum itself.

Si tratta di un'ampia struttura all'interno dell'Area del Castello e del parco di Osaka; comprende sale riunioni, alcuni ristoranti take away, se non ricordo male qualche souvenir e, al primo piano un paio di ottimi ristoranti eleganti (in questi ultimi c'è molta rigidità sul tipo di menù e sugli orari in cui si può accedere a questi menù); fa parte della struttura, ma non so se è un tutt'uno con questa, anche una zona di tavolini all'aperto dove è possibile bere qualcosa.

大阪城公園内のMIRAIZA内にあるしきじょうに招待していただきました。
結婚式は屋上で、大阪城が目の前にそびえ立つ素敵な会場でした。日焼けが気になるくらいでしたが、天気もよく素晴らしいロケーションでした。
披露宴のお食事もおいしくいただきました。
ただ、大阪城公園内にあるため、タクシーで行けず、わかりづらく、観光客もたくさんいるので、時間にはかなり余裕をもっていくことをおすすめします。

A birthday dinner gone terribly wrong....nothing good. Terrible service, terrible food, all plastic plates and cups. My bbq in my own backyard would leave this for dead. HORRIBLE STAY AT HOME.
