Takashimaya Department Store was founded in 1831. There are four stores in Tokyo, the most prestigious of which is the Nihonbashi store. There is also a new wing next to the main building, which offers a wide variety of items from luxury brands to casual wear. 1 minute from Nihonbashi Station on the Ginza Subway Line. The department store is directly connected to the station, making it extremely accessible and very easy to use. It is a very user-friendly department store for shopping in Japan, with a wide variety of restaurants. The East Wing also houses Pokémon Center Tokyo.

You can find this department store as soon as you leave Nihonbashi Station. I stopped by for the first time in a while to shop at the annual Oomi Exhibition (Shiga Prefecture Product Exhibition). I bought some Japanese sweets, specialties of Nagahama and Hikone.

日本の中心・日本橋。日本橋と言えば、かつては、三越、東急（白木屋）、高島屋であったが、東急が無くなり、三越は死に体。そんな中で、高島屋は新館もでき、時代のトレンドも汲み取った、大人の百貨店として今も健在だ。

ショッピングはもちろん食事も
食べ物も満足がいくことでしょう。
でも
私の楽しみ方はお気に入りの場所、屋上で
過ごすことです。
あいにく天気は曇りでしたが
晴れの夜も
明るいから一等星くらいしか見えないでしょうし
防犯カメラも完備されているしのんびりできますよ。

新館のテナント構成が攻めていて面白いです！内装もおしゃれで新しく気分がよいです！その分本館は古びた印象が否めないですね。
