Great onsen. More upscale and luxurious than it is traditional, but still affordable. Plethora of tubs to choose from and a relaxation zone as well (for an extra fee). I believe there’s a massage station too. Well worth the visit if you’re in the area!

割とよく行っている者です。炭酸泉は広くてぬるま湯なので、かなり気に入っております。そしてそのあとベッドで横になるのが好きです。しかし4階は結構混んでおり、平らなベッドを確保するのが難しい日もあります。B2にも4階をはるかに超えるベッド数があるのですが、アロマの匂いがいやで、喉の具合もよくなくなるので、使えません。いつもガラガラなので使いたいのですが、他の人も歩きすがら聞いたのですが、「あの匂いいやだよねえ」と行っていた人がおり、やはり私と同じように匂いがいやな人はいるんだねえと、再確認しました。平のベッドは4階は多分20台ほど、地下2階は多分その5倍ほどあると思いますが、いつも2〜5人ほどしか使っておりません。やはり多分アロマがいやなのでしょうか？
なんとか、お願いです。アロマはやめて、無香空間にしていただけませんでしょうか？

I visited there last week.An admission fee was increase on this December due to rise energy cost.Unfortunatery it also finised Healthy&Beautyful Plan that include smoothie on weekday.In my case it's decreasing to visit there.I hopely revival Healthy&Beautyful Plan again.

The most relaxing and special experience. They are trialling letting in visitors with tattoos. Any tattoos larger than about the size of a hand need to be covered with a flesh tone, waterproof, plastic bandage that can be purchased from the reception for a couple hundred yen. The staff were so friendly and all spoke quite good English. So many different bath options and lots of different add on options like massages etc. Huge relaxation/lounge areas and two restaurants. Simply cannot recommend it highly enough especially if you’re staying in the Shinjuku area.

This is exactly what I wanted to find in Tokyo and it didn’t disappoint. Being English speakers from Australia didn’t make it difficult. The ladies at reception explained the layout of the spa. You leave you shoes in a locker at the door. We were given a locker each for our clothes and then changed into the Japanese outfits to wear in the public areas and the hot rock rooms. When you enter the women’s only hot spas you are naked with a modesty towel you can use. You shower and then head to the varied hot spas, indoor and outdoor. The ice cold spa was awesome! I cannot recommend this place enough. We were the only Westerners there which was good because it didn’t feel touristy at all. After all, this is where the savvy locals come for a day of luxury and relaxation. The hot rock/floor rooms were amazing. I could have stayed all day but we had to meet up with the rest of the family so, reluctantly, had to leave. There are restaurants here and juice bars as well. I f I’m in Tokyo again I will make a beeline for here!

Visited Thermae Yu twice in my 7 day stay in Shinjuku. This bath house is wonderful, exeptionally clean & set up with everything you need, towels, lotions, hairdryer, hairties, creams etc. The staff & locals are all so welcoming to foreigners, advising on correct protocols etc.Highly recommend. Note I took my 17 year old niece, who adored the place,

Hello :)
Just walk in and enjoy the service. You could pay for admission fare and other service charge such as meals or massage fee at once before leaving the SPA centre.

You could go to hotspring areas(onsen) or massage areas or rest areas whenever you like (could visit onsen many times). There are 2 restaurants in the building and therefore you could order ramen or foods in the centre. The food pricing is reasonable and value for money.

We are thinking about staying overnight as we are landing late in Tokyo and have another early morning flight to catch the next day. Is there a place where you can store your luggage? How much would it cost if we are going to be there Friday night about 9 or 10pm and leaving Saturday morning probably 7am? Thanks

I believe you can stay overnight (they are open 24 hrs), but best to send them an email to check their terms haven’t changed. I was there in the afternoon only. I don’t think they have large luggage storage facilities other than hand luggage or small backpacks, but I guess it’s worth asking? Otherwise, maybe leave your left luggage at the station or airport?

Unfortunately not. Their website only states that the entrance is limited to 5am to 8pm for kids "from Junior High (12 yo) to 18 yo", so I think it is safe to assume children under 12 are not allowed.
For children of that age, I would recommand the "Ôedo onsen monogatari" in Odaiba.

yes, it is extremely professional and accommodating.
It's not a place you would be afraid to trust the maagment,
my personal experience is that generally speaking, the Japanese people are extremely honest. The courtesy is beyond compare and the respect for tourists is amazing.
