上野是东京都典型的下町。上一次只是匆匆而过，这次郤主要住在这，如果要找较平价又直达机场及各大景点的住宿，这是不二之选。

上野车站距东京成田机场约半小时的车程， 有赏樱胜地上野公园， 有熊猫北极熊 栖息的 动物园， 馆藏丰富的美术馆， 美食购物的商家阿美横町， 万头钻动 人潮聚集， 是东京精华区中的精华。

我们很早就到了上野，所以距离我们办理酒店入住还有几个小时的时间，我们就在周边到处走走，在附近散步时发现了一个存放行李的地方。这附近有很多有趣的大型商场，小型商店和餐厅。周边的地铁也很方便，可以直接到我们住的酒店。和东京的其他地方相比，这里的人要少一些。

我最近在东京住了6个晚上，住在上野，离上野站只有5分钟的路程。上野是一个很好的旅游基地:——主要的火车站——许多餐饮选择-上野公园,大型绿色空间,你可以得到休息的水泥丛林——丰富的博物馆——上野车站有庆成天际线，直接连接成田机场 。

如果你计划去日本东京旅游，上野是我推荐的位于台东区的地区之一。乘坐东京JR和东京地铁银座线都可以到达，你可以在在交通方面获得最佳的舒适。该地区拥有一些日本的著名景点，包括但不限于——上野动物园，上野公园，阿美横町（Ameyoko）购物市场等。该地区遍布着美丽的公园、餐厅、酒吧、商店和购物中心。著名的商店和餐馆在这里很容易找到。此外，这里的酒店不像银座和新宿那么贵。如果你喜欢公园，那么上野公就是你的理想选择。去哪里都在5到10分钟之内。

上野有面积广大的上野公园与上野动物园，很适合全家大小一起旅游，阿美横町商店街有许多吃喝玩乐的店家，像是台湾的夜市一般，可以来此地逛逛采购。

Thinking about doing a 36 hour layover on our way to Singapore. Would Ueno be a good choice?

If you want a taste of Tokyo of years past, Ueno is a great place to visit. The neighbouring area of Yanaka is full of shrines, old houses and interesting shops and galleries. It is an easy walk from Nippori station down the shopping street and past shrines to Ueno. There is Ueno park and most of the museums and galleries of note in Tokyo are here along with the zoo. Note depending on your travel dates, alot of these are closed on Mondays. Ueno and the area around the station is full of little alleyways crowded with restaurants and shops.

I stayed in the same hotel twice -- Hotel New Tohoku -- newtouhoku. jp -- just one thing -- look very carefully at the map as it does have English name on the building, but the lights are displaying the Japanese name. I liked this hotel as being conveniently located and relatively cheap.

UENO HOTEL or APA HOTEL KESEI UENO?
Pls help me decide on which hotel is better?I've read that Apa Hotel Kesei Ueno is just in front of Kesei Train Station.

I cannot do much to help since I haven't been to either of them, but my advice is to go to the one that works better for you.
Ueno Hotel: a little farther from the station, but cheeper. Average rating in 3.8
APA Hotel Keisei Ueno Ekimae: right in front of the station, but more expensive. Average rating is 3.7
I would probably do Ueno Hotel because it is higher rated. It is still close to the station so I don't think that should matter oo much. And because APA Hotel is basically in Ueno park there may be noise even late at night.
