御台场是一个有着巨型摩天轮、音乐厅、电子游乐场和许多购物中心的娱乐场所集中地。它还拥有大江户温泉物语，该温泉再现了古江户时代的氛围，深受外国游客的欢迎。汐留则集中了许多超现代化的办公大楼，这里的许多餐厅都有着极好的高层视角，可以俯瞰东京的风光。紧挨着的新桥则是相对旧一些的商业办公大厦，不过在这里，你可以与“工薪男”一起在下班后来到铁道桥下面的街边小铺喝杯酒、吃点小吃。

有个巨型高达，老远就能看见，不远处还有个巨型过山车，听声音觉得很刺激。可能我实在是个不怎么喜欢逛街的人类吧，在同行人都去逛商场的时候自己围着岸边走了半天，然后随便到一家餐厅吃了个饭，出来就发现路痴体质的我完全迷路了。顾不得欣赏漂亮的夜景，打着共享位置疯狂寻找同伴。。。总之感觉时候风景不错的购物地吧

一天的旅行后，一位亲戚带我们来到这里，我对这里的环境感到惊讶。我们从河边的停车场，步行到正在施工的巨大的高达复制品。散步很轻松，会路过自由女神像复制品和河对岸的城市美景(东京的天际线和夜晚的灯光)。附近也有很多餐厅、酒吧和咖啡厅，可以去坐坐，看看人来人往，非常值得花一个晚上逛逛。

台场不止只有购物商场可逛，还可以看看高达模型、富士电视台、大江户温泉物语浸温泉等，至少要花上一或两天才逛得完，很推介到来游览。

我乘坐彩虹巴士从品川车站到台场，不知道我能在那里看到什么。我真的对这里各种各样的商店，餐厅和在Aqua City可以做东西而感到非常惊讶。彩虹桥和东京的景色真的美极了。我还乘水船顺着隅田川去到了浅草。真是有趣的一天！

在海边人工岛填海填出来的新城。岛上有住宅，有cbd，有公园，有海滩，有商业中心。交通进市中心相对麻烦一些，没有jr，这里人很多。

I will be traveling to Japan for the Tokyo marathon 2019 in March for the first time. Appreciate if you could advise how to go to Tokyo Marathon Expo. at Odaiba-Aomi from Shinjuku by rail/MRT direct.

Walk to Tokyo teleport Sta., get on Rinkai Line(Navy Blue), at Osaki Sta, transfer to Yamanote Line(Yellow Green Line), When you arrive at Shinjuku Sta. You can ride the Marunochi Line(Red Line) to Shinjuku Sachiome Sta or merely walk if you please. Tip: at the airport or online, you can get guides to the Metro which is a pain sometimes for there are several levels to the stations. Help/Info desks, Police and most staff in train stations do speak English.... Hope it helps.... and before I forget... purchase the necessary Metro passes (when we went there for 5 days, got the 2-day and three day passes) unlimited rides within the metro and a Suica Pass for other Tokyo lines.....

Hi there. We had jr passes so we didnt take any buses and when we did, they were jr buses. But i searched and this is what i found:
The free Bay Shuttle bus runs along a circular route within Odaiba (round-trip ca. 40 minutes) connecting the parking lots and museums in Aomi district with the shopping malls, the hotels and the Fuji TV building. Unfortunately, stops are hard to find so try to ask at the information counters of shoppings malls, ticket counters, etc.

We caught the train and then changed to the monorail; if you have a map of the train lines it’s quite easy to find.

Hi, i would like to visit the Palette Town, DiverCity Tokyo Plaza etc and most of all see th rainbow bridge light up.
I will be visting Oedo Onsen Monogatari first and heads to Odaiba in the late afterrnoon Can you please advise me is it walkable from Oedo Onsen to Odaiba or i need to take a train there? Where should i go to see the rainbow bride and what time does it light up? Thank you!

You can travel with the Yurikamome ( monorail) from station to station .
Regard rainbow bridge ; it's best to photograph from Daiba station . It's getting dark around 8 pm . I am not sure about the lighting, but I am in odiba tomorrow and will see if there's more information.

What is the best way to spend a day in Odaiba? We are coming from Akihabara and plan to arrive around 10am. We are not so much into shopping, more arcades and looking at interesting things.

Welcome to Japan.
Odaiba has a sightseeing spots, those ones facing the Tokyo bay.
The interesting piece of architecture is the Fuji TV Building,please check schedule for visits.
Eating options as well as Sake tasting places are most of them located in a adjacent building
Easily recognizable because of funny mini Liberty Statue located right in front.
That accommodates small shops: souvenir and curious gadgets. For kids there is a big Toy shop
Inside . About the food, recommendation is for Japanese noodles shop(soba) or you can choose
Several ones with direct view of the Tokyo Bay.
Odaiba funa is the place itself, quite chaotic it charming agglomeration of shops
Restaurants, and some typical Japanese professionals such as Uranai-Shi Fortune Tellers
Wish you an enjoyable day at Odaiba.

Is it easy to get from Odaiba island to the mainland? Are there easy train connections to the large "main land" train stations? Would you stay overnight on Odaiba?

It is very easy to get there either by train or ferry. The ferry is a very attractive option getting there. Staying on the island is an option depending on what your length of stay is after all you can only shop so much.

Why do you say to avoid the Hilton Hotel? We are planning a trip to Japan with about five days in Tokyo, and as Hilton Honors members, we have been thinking about splurging on staying at a Hilton there. Maybe there are a few different ones. Which one, specifically is this that you are saying to avoid? Thanks.

The Hilton in Odaiba opened up around October 2015. It use to be the Nikko Tokyo. I wouldn't know why people would suggest not to go there, I stayed at the Grand Pacifica in Odaiba (across the way from the now Hilton). I could tell the Hilton had a fabulous indoor pool, and waterside restaurants within the hotel. Granted, Odaiba is a 20 minute train ride to central Tokyo, I didn't feel it was a hindrance. The train ride was enjoyable because it was along the water, giving a completely different view of Tokyo. Odaiba offers many family activities and shopping. I enjoyed staying in the area because it was close enough to all I wanted to see, and during the evening, the view of the city, the rainbow bridge and the boats on the water....spectacular!
