Ample parking in the vicinity. Not too far from the city and easy to get to if you have a vehicle or a push-bike.
Beautiful white sand and blue water.
Pathways everywhere for those who like to walk or run along the coast and large grassed areas to accommodate groups wanting to relax and have a drink or a meal.
Dining options are nearby.
One of the many great beaches in Perth region; with Hillary's boat harbour nearby - with all the options that provides.

Beautiful white sand and blue water. Pathways everywhere and large grassed areas to relax and picnic on. One of the nicest city beaches with Hillary's nearby.

Had so much fun here. Clear blue waters, swam between flags to be safe not scared of sharks at all lol but was such a great time spent here WA is spoilt with beaches just one of many but definitely gorgeous in its own way

I went to Perth, Australia with my husband at end of January to visit friends, £10 Poms! We wanted a base by the ocean and stayed at Quality Inn Apartments, Sorrento Beach. Just perfect. The staff were really accommodating and we had a fab apartment overlooking the ocean and stunning sunsets. Hillarys resort is a short walk along the beach and has restaurants, shops, bars, harbour. I recommend car hire 'No Birds', Bayswater,Perth to explore the West coast towns, wineries and beaches, attractions.

This is a great beach although can be full of seaweed during winter. In summer it's full of people especially for life saving, particularly nippers. Its a great area and right alongside Hillary's marina for those who want to eat and drink.

The beach never seems over busy yet it’s next to Hillarys Boat Yard with it’s shops and restaurants. Easy parking, life guard on duty and safe swimming. The beach gently slopes so easy swimming

Sorrento Beach is lovely. Clean waters and lifeguards! There also is a shark net that you can swim without any fear.

Visited on Friday 29th November. We were driving north along the Sunset Coast Road and stopped at Sorrento Beach for a swim and relax on the beach. Seems it is a popular beach with the locals as well.

Hi , yes getting to Sorrento city is easy but buses aren’t very frequent and tend not to stick to scheduled time , we used the bus and as long as you are patient then eventually it will turn up
