We arrived in Southbroom and had to play the course, having seen it from our B&B (Coral Tree B&B). The whole experience was very pleasant. We hired clubs, a buggy and a caddy - Sheena and Derek in the pro-shop were very helpful and keen to ensure that we had a very enjoyable experience - which we did. The course was in great condition and gave us a good challenge. The bar staff were friendly and helpful also. Would definitely go back again.

A group of us made the trip to the charming village of Southbroom. As avid golfers from the Cape we were all blown away by the beauty of the course and the warm welcome that we received. I had been there many times before but we had six newcomers and each and everyone of them was complimentary about the course and the apres golf. The Staff at the Club went out of their way to make our visit a great success and this was despite the weather - it was the start of the terrible floods that hit the area. As a big fan of Southbroom I have to declare a certain bias so perhaps the biggest compliment I can pay is that all of my group are returning in just a couple of months time! If you enjoy fun golf and fun times then this is a must.

Firstly, friendly well-run pro-shop. Love the well managed golf course. The course runs parallel to the sea so gorgeous views. The clubhouse has delicious meals with great bar and food service. Thank you

Relaxed 19th Hole experience, with light meals and snacks on the terrace overlooking the rolling golf course and the ocean beyond. Recommend the Four Ball Platter and the calamari for shared snack, Full English to get the day started right and the Sunday Roast as great value for money.

This excellent Golf Course also has a restaurant and they serve great food - lunch and supper. Just make sure you book for an evening meal, to make sure they are open.

Southbroom is not only a great golf course but also a great club with great service and friendly staff and patrons. The course is always in great condition and offers a really challenging lay out. As far as the pro-shop is concerned it is in my opinion the best in the country with friendly staff and everything and more that you could hope to find in a pro shop.

Hier hat jeder Zutritt, man kann draußen oder drinnen oder in einer Art Wintergarten sitzen.Die Bedienung ist flott und freundlich, das Essen ist gut und die Preise sind günstig.

The golf course layout is quite nice and the maintenance is okayish but not sublime. The clubhouse is very much alive with many elderly members that know each other very well. This makes the environment very friendly.
The pro shop is very well stocked with a lot of everything. Do not expect to find all the exclusive brand names but good quality clothing with excellent pricing; typical what the members expect.
Do not leave your wallet in your golf bag because the caddies steal despite that you tip them.
