The whole experience was dreadful.
We went for the meal and wine tasting, it was worse than having a tooth pulled.
Told constantly to keep quiet, worse than being at school but paying good money for the privilege,an absolute joke, avoid like the plague.

I recently visited Riverbend Crocodile Farm in Ramsgate with my family, and unfortunately, we were disappointed. The price advertised on the website was R85 per adult, but when we arrived, we were charged R100 per adult, which was frustrating. The cashier was not interested in offering the advertised entrance fee.
To make matters worse, we were told that the guide hadn't arrived to work that day, so we were left to wander around on our own or watch the movie advertised for 11am. However, at 11.10am, we had to go and find someone to put on the movie for us.
Despite the farm's self-proclaimed status as the "South Coast's most famous attraction," I would dispute this. Croc World in Scottburgh is much better and offers much more value for money. Unfortunately, I would not recommend a visit to Riverbend Crocodile Farm based on our experience.

Went to the wine pairing evening and took a bunch of friends.
Avoid like the plague, it was worse than being at school, our table that we paid good money for were told too, and I quote “Shut Up” on several occasions as apparently we were talking over the guy that loves the sound of his own voice, to say BORING is a massive understatement.
Is this seriously the way to treat your paying guests ????
Food was diabolical and what wine ???
Tried to buy a couple of bottles and was told to wait until we had tasted the next wine, SERIOUSLY an absolute joke from start to finish
The arrogance of the guy in charge, was beyond belief, needs a lesson in hospitality and life.
The most dreadful experience, never again.

WE DID NOT VISIT THE FARM ITSELF BUT HAD LUNCH AT THE cAFE
We did not visit the farm itself but had lunch at the Cafe. Hosts Willie and Linda were exceptionally friendly and promoted the upcoming events at the Cafe and Art Gallery/Wine Cellar - Wine tasting evenings, High Tea served on scheduled days during the week, and Roasts on a Sunday. Crocodile meat obviously features on the menu in the form of a burger or pie. They also have All Day Breakfasts. My husband opted for the Smoke House Burger (Homemade patty) which he raved about. I had the Hawaiian Chicken Burger and we shared a plate of 4 large crumpets. The setting is peaceful with indoor and outdoor tables,

Riverbend Croc farm was an exciting experience for the family. The farm is quite large. There's a small entrance fee. There's a snake house on site. The park has a restaurant and lots of crocodile 🐊 meat on its menu.. You can try the crocodile burger 🍔. Beautiful reptiles and lots of fun for the children.

Really enjoyed my afternoon here. I was fortunate to arrive a few minutes before feeding (by coincidence, as I could not find much detail on the web). Summer and winter feeding changes, so be aware.
The talk was so interesting and I learnt a lot about these interesting creatures. Well presented and the staff so helpful. Well worth a visit. They also have a few snakes, Art shop and Wine Cellar

What an amazing day out. Lots to do, see and learn. They feed the crocodiles every Sunday at 15:00. Will highly recommend this for a day out with the family

We enjoyed our visit to the farm. Learnt a few new things we didn’t know before. The talks are quite Informative and interesting. Knowledgeable guide. Quite a number of crocs

Craft shop at entrance is quiet reasonable with their prices,however,there are no tour guides for the croc enclosures.the snake section is very small with very few reptiles but there are many crocs( maybe thats why it's called croc farm after all.R70 for adults is a little steep considering the few pens of crocs.would have been much better if they could feed them at different times so many visitors can see.i will rate it 5/10 cos they have huge crocs
