A spectacle of nature. Walking along the road to reach the lake you can already see it, with truly fairytale views. A magical place and beautiful estate. The water is always cold and you can rent canoes or boats to go around the lake.
There is also a small bar quite stocked considering the area.

Cute ride that offers a nice walk, beautiful panorama and stop in the area farms.

I read the various reviews. Of these they do not give a precise indication. However in Darfo Boario, take capo di Lago, you can get there by car, in this period. Doing the loop, it's easy, I went with a 14-year-old dog. The ride is 4 km the short one, the longer you can do it with the stroller, short time 1 hour, difference in altitude 100 up and down, there are spaces to eat on your own or eat in restaurants or bars, in this period few open. If you do not find a place at the head of Lago, continue until the end of the via lago Moro there are other parking lots that are on the route around the lake.

To get to the lake there is a slightly winding and shaded climb into a forest. On top a small parking lot, a bar / refreshment. The lake and 'very beautiful and you can make the almost complete tour along the shore on the water. I think you can go around with a mini ferry but I'm not sure.

I don't understand bad reviews, maybe they're dictated by a wrong expectation. It's a hike in the woods, it's not Lake Garda, or Iseo. It's a mountain pond. In the mountains you usually do not arrive by car! But there is a shuttle service here and so yes, everyone can get there. You park far away and take the shuttle or legs on your shoulders and get on. Alternatively take the lazy people up by car before 9am and then take the car back to the valley and reach them on foot or by shuttle. It's a lovely place. To what nature gave were added services such as bars, bathrooms, pedal boats and canoes rental, jetty from which to dive and stairs to climb up. A huge spotless lawn. The tour of the lake is feasible remembering that it is still a path in the woods with a decent difference in altitude. I understand that the showers are no longer for public use and it is a shame, perhaps for a fee but I would have left them. 30 years later it remains my favourite place.

If you want to see the lake either pay the shuttle or pay the municipality, 15 reserved parking spaces.

We have parked in the parking lot at the end of Via Bedosco at the top of the lake (free). We walked anticlockwise around the lake. The first half from top to the open lower part on the lake and then back up to the parking lot. All in all a walk of over an hour. After about 20 minutes you pass an Agriturismo. Just after that you have these to walk down or first follow the higher route. We chose the former. This path was more climbing over stones than normal walking. I suspect the higher path is easier. At the open lower part is a cafe, toilets rental of pedal boats, canoes etc. When we were there it was very busy with school classes in and on the water. All in all a nice experience.

I was in the area and wanted to visit the lake to relax and cool off. Really too difficult to approach the shores. Difficult roads, very narrow and steep streets. I gave up.

Bad experience! Flyers distributed at hotels are unclear and hoteliers give incorrect directions. First of all there are no clear directions on where to take the shuttle to Boario. Corna Cemetery is perhaps the easiest point. Times not respected. Shuttle every half hour actually passes whenever you want. Wait till there's a whole bunch of people. It is not written anywhere that it is not a walk suitable for everyone, no strollers no prams. By car l summer you can not get there. If you put a service it must be working!

Poor review due to the parking problem. Really nice place even if the colors of the lake are not particular, organized to make use of the lake. The big problem is parking, in summer shuttle from the town, out of season only about fifteen spaces, don't stop outside because fines pile up, so out of season you can't go there except on foot with a nice climb

È raggiungibile il lago con una signora in carrozzella? Da dove si lascia l’auto alla riva del lago dove fermarsi c’è una strada sterrata? È fattibile appunto con carrozzella?

Si , volendo si. È raggiungibile in auto . C'è da fare una bella salita con delle belle curve a cui bisogna stare attenti a chi scende in auto o in moto . Però sentivo che possono parcheggiare fino al 6 settembre solo i residenti. Poi dopo possono parcheggiare tutti. Io sono salito con la navetta .

A Boario Terme che è vicino ce ne sono molte ma qualcosa c'è anche in prossimità del lago per esempio agriturismo Ruc del Lac

Da Darfo Boario precisamente da "Angolo Terme" la strada più breve conduce ad un parcheggio dal quale con una passeggiata di circa mezz'ora si arriva al laghetto. Saluti
