Beautiful cathedral with optional (paid) stairway to the bell tower with great view

Beautiful cathedral that is filled with historical pieces of information. Open to walkthrough during the day. You can "donate" to walk the stairs up to the bell tower and get a great view of Hamilton township

Cathedral in Hamilton

This is a beautiful cathedral church. We visited Hamilton the day of Queen Elizabeth's funeral so there were very few public buildings or businesses open. There was a condolence book to sign for the queen. The building is stunning with a magnificent altar. As an organist I was somewhat disappointed with the instrument I saw. The facade was very unattractive and run down. I wonder how the organ sounds?

A gorgeous quiet sanctuary in the heart of Hamilton. It’s incredibly detailed and the glass work is beyond stunning. You’ll most likely have the place to yourself which was a lovely break from the bustle of front Street

Anglican Mass

2019年11月

This is an active Anglican Cathedral run by a very well liked and respected bishop. I am not an Anglican but I have been there a few times. I would not consider it a tourist location but it is in Hamilton and I have enjoyed the services when I have been there.

Classic Cathedral

We had to step in and were welcomed as there was not a service in session. It's a classic Episcopal cathedral with some impressive decoration. Towers above the city and you can't miss it.

Beautiful free church

This cathedral is about two blocks from Front Street. It is free and has beautiful architecture. The warriors chapel on the right side is very nice. We were here on a November Monday morning and were the only ones here. I didn't know about climbing for a view so I can't comment on that.
