El cacao al igual que el café son una fuente de ingresos para RD al exportar estos productos de excelente calidad. Es esencialmente una tiende que los comercializa y dónde se pueden realizar degustaciones. Muy interesante

Went there on a tour with Papa Jose(funniest guide ever) and as we were killing time. He took us to the museum to try chocolates and liqueurs.
A very nice guy explained to us how you obtain cocoa, took us at the back to see the plants in their garden and just took a minute to tell us plenty of stuff, just being so nice! I’m a big chocolate lover and we got to try a lot of things, including cocoa tea which was really nice. We did buy some chocolates and teas not sure if I want to eat them as they’re just such cute memories, looking good in condiment jars on our shelf at the minute(could easy buy the whole shop).
Thank you guys for a lovely experience. They took their time to show us around and it just felt so genuine and lovely. Would’ve loved a workshop but we didn’t have enough time for that. I find it funny how so many people love chocolate but do they have a clue what it comes from and what the process is? I’ve always wondered and I find it funny how such a weird tree gives you the most delicious thing ever. Now I know a little bit more.

Il Choco museo è situato nel cuore della zona coloniale.
Un angolo sublime per gli amanti del cioccolato.
Il personale è garbato e disponibile.
Appena entri vieni inebriato da un profumo stupendo!
Possibilità di varie degustazioni.
E per gli acquisti c'è solo l'imbarazzo della scelta.
Il the' al cioccolato è una vera prelibatezza .

This place is a tourist trap for sure. Guides will always bring you here - can only be because they get a huge cut. There is another place call Kah Kow nearby. Far superior experience, great staff, get to see chocolate making in action and also sell cacao products and chocolates at a very reasonable price.

I like chocolate very much and fell pray to the invitation to step inside. Immediately, we were set upon by a person pushing samples, and who then kept pressuring us as we walked around. There's some interesting information about cocoa, but no doubt this is a store camoflaged as a museum. Prices were very high!

The entrance is free and you get to try all their products. You must know they add sweetener to the chocolate tea. They are very kind and helpful! I loved my visit! The guide I met at the Plaza Colon (Mr Peralta) gave me a tour around the city and this was one of the two stores we came in. The tour was very thorough and detailed for only $20, I recommend him! I bough here some chocolate tea to take home! Check out the Heart on the entrance floor at the sidewalk!
La entrada es gratis y tienen muestras de todo. Debes saber que endulzan el té cuando te dan la muestra. Son muy amables y dispuestos para ayudarte! Me encantó mi visita! El guía turístico que conocí en la Plaza Colon (Sr. Peralta) me dio un recorrido muy completo y detallado de muchos lugares y este fue uno de ellos...por solo $20 lo recomiendo! Compré un poco de té de chocolate para llevar a casa!

La entrada es gratis y tienen muestras de todo. Debes saber que endulzan el té cuando te dan la muestra. Son muy amables y dispuestos para ayudarte! Me encantó mi visita! El guía turístico que conocí en la Plaza Colon (Sr. Peralta) me dio un recorrido muy completo y detallado de muchos lugares y este fue uno de ellos...por solo $20 lo recomiendo!

Hola,
Es cierto, tenemos una tienda que se llama ChocoMuseo Annex, es el anexo del Museo alli se encuentran los productos y las degustaciones. Le invitamos a que visite el Museo y realice un tour sobre el Proceso, la Historia y todo lo que involucra el Cacao Dominicano o que realice un Taller de Chocolate, es una forma de aprender haciendo chocolate una manera muy divertida de aprender como hacer chocolate o que sea parte de un proyecto que se llama Chocosolidario en la cual ayudaremos a instituciones dominicanas.
Esperamos su visita.

We also have ChocoMuseo Annex that the Store of the Museum, maybe that's the reason you just see products but we have the Museum where the Guides teach you The History, Evolution and process of Cacao.
