我去了这家种植园皇家加勒比的短途旅行的一部分。酒店的内部装潢很漂亮,还有古董家具。酒店的外观和庭院都是残破的,但是很棒的是能看到自然回收的丑闻一个过去的时代。这次旅行的场地很快（30分钟下）和农作物生长在庄园里还包括的信息上,即椰子,香蕉,甘蔗,和本色。这是一个看起来像是房子有很棒的种植园和工作是一项副业在这一点上。我们的导游说房子早已没人因为1970 s ,但看起来似乎相当吸引人的旅游时间。

Genuine feeling of an old-times plantation

An old plantation with a few bumps in the road around it. A more “down to earth”- kind of experience as the plantation is in disrepair, except the inside of the main building, but also authentic and does not feel commercialized. Do not miss the coconut with the brown sugar treat plus the sugarcane, very tasty!
A trip around the plantation in a carriage drawn by an old tractor is fun but a bit bumpy. You get to see plantations of bananas, sugar canes, pineapples, coconuts and other fruits grown and your guide explains to you in broken English how it works. Picturesque views, genuine feeling of an old-times plantation  . We recommend the excursion when in Jamaica.

Brimmer Hall Estate excursion

wonderful people throughout the tour. A great view into the past as well as an opportunity to see the fruits growing in the fields with sampling

excellent shore excursion

I usually hate ship sponsored shore excursions, but his one was delightful. We had an interesting ride back and forth with a driver and guide who gave us much info on Ochos
.At the plantation we were allowed to look around the main house and then went on a Jitney {tractor pulled cart) through the fields. The crew on the Jitney were very pleasant and described the crops with many tastes and look sees. I believe there were 8 passengers with us and we were very comfortable.

Well worth a visit

Although this place is struggling to survive it is worth a visit. There isn't that much to see there but the tour gave an insight into how it use to be. I always imagined a homestead to be much larger than this but it was interesting to see. The staff were great and their humour made for a good tour.

Plantation ...worth the visit...not the money !!

With the money the one owner gets from this plantation tour it could be alot better... I guess it is not that broken to them,..or him. Little to no up keep...closer to none.... I can not believe it has 250 employees working there... garden area had maybe 5 tomato plants..they may harvest from the coconuts and bananas... but nothing in the working place is real...looked more for show than any thing else. However, the staff were charming and made the tour interesting..the house could have had a docent with background history of the families that had lived there. Snacks were nice... coconut with cane sugar, orange slices and fruit punch.

Belle plantation à visiter

Intéressant et bien conservé. On visite la plantation avec des employés qui expliquent et montrent très bien. Bel acceuil. On vous fait goûter les produits à la fin de la visite. Sympathique.

Needs A LOT of TLC

We took a tour from our NCL cruise. Sure not what we expected. The plantation is run down, main house is nice to walk through though. Guide was very friendly and informative. We were surprised at the hap hazard way the crops are scattered, sure didn't look like a working plantation to us.

You would think with all the tourist dollars from the cruise ships coming into the place, they would fix it up some. The bathrooms are pretty nasty, no running water in the sinks in the men's room. Best part of the ladies room was the view out the window over the sink.......

Not a bad option - decaying grandeur with a good tour

Brimmer Hall itself is decaying, but in a similar way to Firefly it gives you a feeling for a different era and a different way of living and invokes a sense of sadness that it is fading. They are making efforts to improve it. The tour of the plantation itself is also pretty good and the staff are great. It's not complicated. It's not long. And best of all it's one of the few tourist attractions where you are just shown what you're interested in and not milked for all the extra dollars possible.

Decaying Grandeur

I visited this plantation as part of a Royal Caribbean excursion. The interior of the house is beautiful, as are the antique furnishings. The exterior and grounds are crumbling, but it was fascinating to see nature reclaiming a relic of a bygone era. The tour of the grounds was quick (under 30 minutes) and included information on the crops still grown on the estate, namely coconut, banana, sugar cane, and cacao. It is a working plantation and seems like the great house is an afterthought at this point. Our guide said that the house has been unoccupied since the early 1970s, but it appeared to have been quite the tourist attraction in its time.
