My friends and I came here and enjoyed the whole experience! Julian was our tour guide and he made sure we all were comfortable and did not rush us when we were scared. Not just him, but the rest of the employees here helped us when we were nervous, or just needed a hand for balance! Thank you to all of them!! The water is so refreshing. Bring water shoes and a swimsuit that has good coverage! Thank you again to Julian, and the rest of the workers ! They all deserve a raise !

Go to blue hole and ask for Guide Jay! He was so friendly, helpful and informative! He took at least 50 pictures and videos of us on our phones during our climbs and jumps!
The water is amazing , the whole experience is one I am glad we didn’t skip! If I ever get back to Ochos Rios, I will be back to blue hole!

Lovely tranquil place. Great cooling off spot if you’ve been elsewhere (Nine Miles, Browns Town market etc)
Guides are knowledgeable and keen to share and point things out as well as take your photos for you.
Not so blue for us as there had been some liquid sunshine prior to our visit!

This was a surprise, we thought we would be looking at the falls and maybe swimming, did not know we had to climb the falls and each section has a small pool you can swim in and or jump in. The guides are experienced and they are very helpful. Make sure to take US Dollars for tipping the guides. There is a small area that they have souvenirs if you want to purchase. Bring change of clothing if going to a restaurant after.

Blue Hole was a lovely experience. It was fun and adventurous and the guides were very attentive. Don’t forget to look around you though, because the surroundings are stunning.
1 point of disappointment: we didn’t receive the picture package from the photographer that accompanied our group (payed 40 dollars for it). I tried to contact Island Gully Falls through e-mail + let my Tui representative call them but they never bothered to respond.

Lovely location...visitors please haggle as they push the entrance amongst others prices up for non locals.
Lovely blue waters, lovely waterfall...pictuque aesthetics.
Cons...touchy feeling workers who need putting in their place!

Fantastic site to visit. If you can get a private driver to set you up (Inside Tours Jamaica) you will get a private walking guide to take you to three locations. DON'T RUSH IT. Take your time, jump in, rope swing, whatever you want to do. It will feel like they are moving from one location to the next if you don't slow it down.
Platform jump was really cool...spend time here for sure.
Ahmed was our lifeguard, bodyguard, paparazzi. Nice guy with a great sense of humor.

Ask for Sam and TJ, they will take care of you and keep you safe. You don’t have to be a strong swimmer, the current and the life this will do most of the work for you. The 20 foot jump will get your heart racing. Call to make sure that the entire Blue hole is open. There is so many different jumps. You can utilize there.

Well i book my clients through tcjtours for years they are based in Montego bay and Falmouth so you can easily book with them on there tour page . They are a private service so its up to you how long you want to stay ive stayed 1hr -2hrs . I mean ive eaten at so many stops if your in Ocho rios try pattie stop in the town or scotches for jerk chicken the drivers know everything so there the best to chat up with on the day and just let them serve you .

How far is the platform from the water? My husband and I are in a debate after jumping this summer. He says it was a 10’ jump and I say 30’. What’s the correct distance? Thanks!

I’m not sure of the exact height of the jump. It felt like 10 metres, but was probably not much more than 5. All I know is that I would probably have not chosen to go there if I had known the reality beforehand. But, having survived, I felt good about it.

Yes, as long as you are able to do a little walking and moving. It's a little slippery at times, you definitely need water shoes.

I am a non swimmer and fear of deep water. However hubby is good swimmer. We are keen to visit blue hole with tui trip to kokono falls to. Can I just walk the falls while hubby swims. Or paddle in shallower waters. Life jacket won't conquer the fear tried it in Dominican Republic when missold a waterfall tour.

I didnt see any broken glass or sharp rocks. Thus, even no shoes would have been okay where we were, but I recommend them only for safety. I think any shoe with a strap to stay on would be fine. Sliders will definitely fall off.
