Fun…..for a couple of hours. It’s a pretty small space that can get really crowded. Food was good…very expensive though. Drinks were good and the cliff diving was amazing. The kids and I had a blast and we were able to get multiple jumps from the cliffs. Music was loud and plenty people were dancing around. If you’re looking for a big bar, with food and drinks then this is your place!

Waitress was not happy to be working. Rolled her eyes A LOT. Never asked if we needed anything and then when we asked for something she rolled her eyes.
Ordered wings - not available.
Ordered spiced rum - not available.
Ordered peel and eat shrimp - she told us they were really small and had the heads attached. Did not order.
Ordered burgers - she told us she had to go to another building to get them.
Stopped taking our order halfway through to serve food to another table.
Rolled her eyes when we asked for another drink.
Food was ok.
When she delivered the check, she asked if we wanted to tip. We said we’d tip when after the check was rung up. When she came back with it, it said gratuity included.

Staying at the RIU Palace Tropical Bay, was a 25 minute taxi ride ($40 round trip from our resort) and we loved it. Wife and I both jumped from the 25 foot spot. We’ll come back for sure next time in Negril.

Amazing atmosphere and food! Jumping off the cliffs was our favorite part! The jerk chicken pasta and the Cajun shrimp pasta were the best meals we had while in Jamaica! Go on a clear day so to see the sunset! The best in Jamaica!

Enjoyed a leisurely lunch and watching staff and tourist divers from our dining spot. Yes, a diver asked for a tip which we were happy to provide and enjoyed seeing his dives. We had appetizers and a bucket of Red Stripe beers for around $70 plus tip. Seemed reasonable at a tourist destination. Was a fun afternoon.

If you value your health and safety, I would be careful with this place. Greed trumps all here. I witness a guest droping a glass bottle and it broke into many pieces of glass shards. She picked up some of the glass and placed it on a table but walked away leaving the rest on the floor. I went over and notified the two bag checkers but they didn't seem to care. Another lady told the waiter but she didn't seem to care either. Concerned that I would witness someone slicing their foot open, I got up and kicked all the glass I could under the base of an umbrella. This place is all about grabbing as much U S D that they can They check your bags in for contraband food and drinks, but couldn't care less about your safety. Our tour guide told us that if you pay in USD, they give you your change in JMD. They also charge a fee for using your credit card. Drinks and food is way overpriced. There is something like an infiniti pool there, but it looked filthy,. Again, it's all about grabbing as much cash in United States dollars that they can. Cool to see the sunset , but you could probably do it for free from somewhere else. My advice, eat and drink before you go there, visit close to sunset, take your pictures and leave

We visited Rick’s Cafe as it was recommended to us by friends. The entertainment is good and watching people jump from the cliffs is thrilling - especially the local who jumped from the very top. We thought we had budgeted for drinks here but they were more expensive than we thought. The cocktails were strong, but for the cost (8 USD), atmosphere and location I was expecting more than a primary coloured drink in a cup. There was nothing special about the ‘cafe’. However, the sunset is beautiful and it is the perfect location to sit and watch it go down. Be mindful that if you book with TUI your bus will depart before the sun has set so I suggest you go with a private transfer. We stayed in Montego Bay and went with TagJamaica, they were fantastic

Who can we book a tour from Montego bay to 7 mile Beach and ricks cafe?

I was there about 2 months ago. I booked my resort on expedia and my flight I booked myself direct with jetblue because I had the greatest amount of flight combinations of flights for my trip. This way I could get the best deal. I flew there from one airport but returned at another saving about $300. This was not offered by the travel compay

Hi. What are the costs of a drink at Rik's Caffe? Are we best doing an excursion that includes boat trip and snorkeling or finding our own way with a taxi?

My fiancée and I had a beer and a G&T and it was $16.
If you fancy going for a few drinks and spending a while there or eating I would get a taxi. If you are just going to see it, have a drink, do the cliff jump, I would do the excursion.
