This place was amazing. We visited during the playoff game between Puerta Rico and Mexico. The streets were full of spectators and a very lively crowd. We enjoyed sitting outdoors for dinner and listened to a few of the sounds before returning to our hotel. There are plenty of restaurants and bars. The people were super friendly.

I planned this couples trip for my girlfriend’s 38th birthday. She loves to go out and listen to music, so after a long day at Luquillo Beach and Carabali, we rested up and headed to Santruce. We had an amazing time! The street was filled with tourists and locals all enjoying the atmosphere. I also got to takes pictures with a snake!!! Cops were everywhere so we definitely felt safe. Everyone was literally enjoying themselves and there was no weird vibes. This is a must especially for adults looking to party.

This is a must stop while you are visiting this corner of the world. Amazing atmosphere, delicious food smell everywhere, wonderful people and nice weather.

Antes del 2011 Placita era un lugar espectacular para hanguear seguro. Ahora con el monton de negocios dirigidos al regueteon se convirtio en un lugar de peleas y tiros.. Jamas en la vida sera seguro como lo era antes. Lamentablemente..
Si quiere ir a la segura vaya los domingos de 1pm a 6pm y largese porque comenzara a llegar la gente problematica eh imprudente.

This is a must must must see for your Puerto Rico trip. Came here with work colleagues and had an amazing time. So many bars where you can grab drinks and music playing in the streets. Do not miss this!

This is a street vibe that really gets started after 10:00 pm. All sorts of places from little dives to full-on salsa clubs. Every age group is represented. This is also the spot to find affordable drinks!

Non stop fun for all! This is a must visit spot in San Juan! There are music 'stalls' surrounding the area playing all types of music so you should find something that suits you. It's fun to walk around & people watch and see some great dancing! We were a group of 5 women and felt very safe both nights that we visited!

I had the best time. There are plenty bars available with lots of music. The best days are Thursday through Saturday. It is safe and the vibe is amazing. I had the most amazing

The place to be is the back terrace were locals gather for leisurely conversations and tourists stop to rest their weary calf muscles. The stores are very basic, almost like roadside stands. Neither quaint nor specialized, it's surprisingly inadequate for a place with so much history. Compared to Faneuil Hall in Boston, or the Mercado de Triana in Seville, there's a lot it _could_ be.

I’m going with my friends and I’m turning 21 and I wanted to bar hop and just be on the street having fun but 2 of my friends are 20 and I saw that in Puerto Rico sone places you can’t get in if u not 21 so I wanted to know for the night life at la plactia do you have to be 21 to get in the bars out there or can we all get in and bar hop?

I am staying at an airbnb right outside of here. is there overnight parking near by that I can park my rental car? I know there is street parking but not sure if there is a maximum parking time, etc.
