La Marina est agréable et propre. Elle dispose de 6 boutiques 3 restaurants une boutique mode et café un mini market et une boutique mode duty free.
Le café pizzeria est fort agréable avec un personnel professionnel et très prévenant. Mettant beaucoup d énergie à vous conseiller même avec la barrière de la langue.
Dès qu’on sort de la Marina c’est un autre paysage, routes mais entretenues abord en friche et pour rejoindre la ville comptez bien 45 min sans aucune indications votre seule boussole est de suivre les rares passants en vous disant que cela doit aboutir quelque part.
Vous arriverez enfin à un bourg avec 2 espaces commerciaux très réduits et des boutiques soi disant Duty free hors de prix pour tout ce qui est vêtements et chaussures rien à moins de 120€ en moyenne quelques marques dans 2 ou 3 magasins et le reste est de l import chinois.
Les bâtiments sont mal entretenus et pour certains les parkings sont des friches les prix des restaurants sont prohibitifs par rapport à la qualité proposés pour déjeuner le mieux est la pizzeria citée plus haut .
Aucun intérêt de venir une journée ici

Wow what an amazing beach. Still water soft sand . Spend a day here is easy . Best to go early before cruise ship people arrive. Also hunt for best deck chair offers

Lots to see and do. Amazing weather. Lovely breeze…clouds zip by. Great variety of food. Marie’s fish shack for lunch is the best all round for fresh fish, value and uniqueness.

Lively beach in St Lucia with sunbeds & beach bars. Water & beach are very clean. Not too far from Cruise Terminal so easy to get to.

Cafe Ole has the best coffee and breakfast. Sea salt restaurant has excellent food at reasonable prices.

From the traditional warm welcome of the famous Friday night street party to the elegant waterfront dining experience at Jaques Restaurant (so good we went twice) Rodney Bay is vibrant and enjoyable place to visit by sea or land.

Great place to visit. Cant wait to go back. Well either a visit . Take plenty of cash as some places can be quite expensive.

Une belle et longue plage de sable avec des commodités privatives parasol, transat devant une mer turquoise et un ensemble de restaurants sur la route arrière parallèle à plage mais sans aucune gêne.

Hi..as agreed with the other reviewers to this question there are many great places to hit whilst in Rodney Bay but in particular i enjoyed 'Keebies' which seemed to become our preferred spot. Suggest you take in the Gros Islet Street Party on a Friday night, it goes on till about 2.00 am! Great atmosphere, party vibes, loads of local food and drinks on sale..its a must!

Hi, 2 of us are thinking of getting an apartment (not hotel) for a week in Nov 2019. Is it safe there for Brit girls staying in the beach area not in a hotel? Not intending to stay out late (but would like a few drinks early eve in local bars). And not intending any daft behaviour. We would like to hire a car and explore the island too, is this safe? thanks

I believe it is ok. But for your info my sister stayed with us on a beautiful villa up on the cliff above the bay and I had to drive her car for a week because she was too scared to drine on the curvy bumpy roads [on the left, but you are used to driving on the left]

A taxi can be anything from $80. We booked ours with our travel agent so it could vary. It's a good hour and a half away from Rodney Bay but nice scenery along the way and hopefully you will get a nice driver who will point places of interest out to you. Rodney Bay is lovely..... Enjoy

I will be staying at the Bay Gardens Hotel in Rodney Bay on a room only basis. Are there plenty of places to eat locally? Are there any street vendors? love Caribbean food and would like to take it back to the hotel and warm up in the microwave

I dont recall any street vendors but a few random stalls selling fruit and veg. The only mobile vender I encountered was on Reduit Beach, a local lady selling roti and curry

St. Lucia is an island where people goes for the beaches, people and landscape. NOT for shopping (I will never understand why people asks for shopping malls on a island where everything has to be imported, has high import duties and you would not even be able to afford stuff). Rodney bay is NOT the city. You want city? Go to gros-islet or viewfort. But be aware, they are rather bigger villages. Still nice to see (once)

you are right at the same time,you expect a price list at the beach? prepair yourself, talk to NICE people and ask. i bet you did not even have one single EC dollar. Comparing BBDOS to STLUCIA is highly unfair. BBDOS is a rich island with very rich people. They would have a price list and charge you even more.
