We loved our snorkeling and day trip to Jost Van Dyke! We were visiting for the day on Disney Cruise Line and our group was traveling with 5 under 5. The walk from port to the boat was super easy and we got back with plenty of time before all aboard time. The snorkel stops were really fun and definitely doable with kids. The beach at JVD is gorgeous and we lucked out with perfect weather. Definitely pack that sunscreen! The boat has plenty of space, shade and drinks! We brought our own life jackets & snorkel sets for the little ones but they are well stocked for adult gear and pool noodles for snorkeling. Don’t pack a lot if you want to take your stuff down at the JVD beach because you hold it above your head when you get off the boat in shallow water. Would definitely recommend booking!

Great cruise this week with Gary and Enya. Fun time and Gary was very flexible to accommodate what we wanted to do. Couple of snorkel spots and then plenty of time to relax at White Bay with lots of fun in between. Great trip, great crew and great time.

Our charter with Gary on Kuralu Too was perfect! The boat fit all 15 of us comfortably. They served us drinks immediately and kept them coming all day long. He took us exactly where we wanted to go, one place was a little crowded for snorkeling so we just went around the corner to a quieter spot and it was definitely better. They provided all of the snorkel gear we needed along with noodles to just float around if we wanted. The music he played all day long was on point. He provided little tidbits of info about all the islands and things we were passing along they way. We got to hang out at Hendo's and Soggy Dollar Bar for a couples of hours, eat and have some drinks. It was a really great day, one of the best days of our entire trip. I highly recommend book a charter with Gary and his crew. You will not be disappointed!

Could not have asked for a better host than Gary and his helper, Enya. Professional, fun, efficient and ensured an amazing time for us and our three kids, 10,13 and 16.
Had the best time snorkeling at Peter and Norman island and then on to Jost van dyke. Saw turtles, tons of fish and just had a totally relaxing and happy day. Highlight of our trip!
We will absolutely book with Gary again. He is the best!

This was truly the highlight of our cruise, and that’s saying a lot! Gary was wonderful at ensuring we all had the best experience, and lovely Enya kept the rum punch flowing the whole day. The snorkeling locations were beautiful, and our visit to Jost Van Dyke made it a fantastic excursion. I cannot recommend Gary enough. He is a great Captain!! Thanks again Gary!! Hope to do it again.

What an amazing day, besides the weather being picture perfect, Capt Gary and his First Mate were amazing. We met him at the pier just after docking and he was ready to go. We went to some great spots. He even jumped in to snorkel with us and find turtles. The rum punch was flowing and ice cold beer and water. I would without hesitation book with Capt. Gary again

Captain Gary was extremely friendly and accommodating throughout our day trip around BVI. They had a boat full of rum punch and other drinks. Gary and first mate, Enya, put together a fantastic charter out of Tortola that involved snorkeling at Peter Island and the Indians, as well as a fun and relaxing beach, lunch and drink stop at White Bay on Jost Van Dyke. The painkillers at Soggy Dollar were dangerously good like all the reviews have claimed. Gary and Enya are incredibly knowledgeable about BVI, working and living on the water, and it really shows that they love what they do! We cannot wait to take a trip with them again in the future!

Six of us were looking for a small boat tour to Jost Van Dyke while we were in Tortola on a cruise. Kuralu offered the perfect excursion. Communication with Gary prior to arriving in Tortola was easy. Gary even accommodated our request to start the day 30 minutes earlier, since Norwegian changed our port time. The marina is about a ten-minute walk from where the cruise ship docked. We had a little trouble locating the entrance to the marina. But some local residents were very helpful in pointing us in the right direction. not a big deal. Once on board we were greeted by the captain and first mate. (Sorry I forgot their names). Both were very friendly and skilled in their craft. The boat used could hold 20 passengers. The day we went there were a total of eight. Lots of room to spread around. We stopped at two different snorkeling spots before heading to Jost Van Dyke. The snorkeling was ok at the first spot. But there wasn't a big variety of marine life to see. The second spot offered a wider variety of fish and sea life. Since there were only eight of us, all with our own snorkeling gear and experience, we were on and off the boat quickly. This gave us more time at each stop. After snorkeling we arrived at Jost Van Dyke around lunch time. Captain told us the best place to get chairs and food. Chair rental, food, and drinks were reasonably priced. We were lucky to avoid the rain, except for a couple of showers on the return trip back to the marina. Touring with Kuralu Charters was the perfect way to spend the day while in Tortola. The cruise ship offered a four-hour catamaran ride to Jost Van Dyke. We saw how crowded the catamaran was with passengers. No thank you. By booking with Kuralu, we got a seven-hour tour which allowed us to snorkel as well as venture to Jost Van Dyke. Our tour was cheaper in price. But offered so much more. Longer time, less people, two snorkeling spots, a fast ride to/from Jost Van Dyke, and a great captain and crew to spend the day with. Do yourself a favor and book with Kuralu.

We had a great time with Gary on the Kuralu Too yesterday. It was a great adventure. Gary was easy to communicate with, the boat was comfortable, the stops were perfect! The rum punch delicious! Highly recommended!

Thank you Gary for such a fantastic day trip around Virgin Gorda. Gary was easy to communicate with and had great tips for our trip and took us to some fantastic spots. There were five of us on the power cat he took us out in and we couldn't have asked for a better day. I cannot recommend Kuralu enough!

No not at all. Nor did we take anything in preparation of the trip. Winds were over 25 knots which is substantial enough they couldn’t do much sailing. It helps to snorkel and be in the water as well. Dee and Kate did a great job of keeping us out of the roughest waters.
