We had a fantastic day out at the volcano. It was super reasonably priced, we had a great time and the food was fantastic! Super reliable tour company - I would recommend.

We went on a guided hike to the top of La Soufriere arranged by Sailor's. The tour itself was excellent, our guide told us lots of interesting stories about St. Vincent history and wildlife all along the way and he had purposefully timed the hike so that we got to the top just after noon where there was the highest chance of the clouds having cleared from the top, which paid off, since most other hikers with guides we saw on our way got up early and couldn't see anything from the top.
Apart from this Sailor's were really helpful with transportation back and forth, even calling to our Airbnb to make arrangements, since we had some issues to sort out.
All around really dedicated to giving the best experiences. Thanks a lot!

We had a great morning on this tour. Our guide and driver were lovely people, and we so enjoyed learning about this beautiful island. I want to go back and stay sometime! Do yourself a favor and book this tour if you go!!

Pour randonneur aguerris car ça grimpe assez dur et ça redescend aussi difficilement ; très brumeux en hauteur nous n avons pas pu faire les 15 dernières mn de grimpe
La végétation reste néanmoins jolie
Je préfère avertir car nous avons manque d info sur cette activité quant à son nouveau de difficulté

We booked a full day tour to Bequia from St Vincent with Sailors Wilderness Tours. Our guide, Ozzie, picked us up at our hotel. We headed into Kingstown and loaded the car and ourselves unto the ferry. A nice scenic ferry ride into beautiful Port Elizabeth on the island of Bequia. We had a great day exploring the entire island, stopping for a wonderful local fresh fish lunch, and then walking the boardwalk from Port Elizabeth to Princess Margaret Beach. Highly recommend Sailors Tours!

I've been on many jungle treks and volcano hikes in my travels around the world, but Ossie made the Soufriere hike truly special for me and my grandfather. Ossie is extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to and we discussed politics in St. Vincent, Rastafarians, the job of being a tour guide, agriculture, and our families among many other things. We appreciated Ossie going above and beyond in showing us the special plants and animals along the trail. At one point he climbed up into a tree to give us a fruit called plum rose. He also pointed out a hummingbird's nest with eggs in that was so memorable. When we got up to the top of the crater everything was shrouded in a thick fog but due to his experience and patience we were able to hike around to other side of the crater where we finally saw the clouds clear to reveal unforgettable views. The hike itself is not challenging for someone with any hiking experience and the trail is clear but being in the company of such a fantastic guide really transformed the experience and I learned so much.

Thanks to this company my boyfriend and I had a wonderful day filled with breathtaking views. They arranged our airport pick up (on time), ferry tickets, lunch etc. For the first part on Bequia the rain fell heavily that we couldn't see a thing but that's nature for you. Once the weather cleared up the rest on the day was just perfect for us. We would highly recommend this company. The tour guides are beyond friendly and caring to your needs.

We booked with Sailors when coming in on a cruise for the day. Desmond picked us up right away and we walked over to the shop and headed out. We were with another couple who we picked up on the way and a mother and her daughter. It took a little over an hour to get to the trail. When we started the hike my family (myself, husband and son) and the other couple hiked ahead as we were faster paced. We got to the top after about 1.5 hours. It was an exhilarating hike. Unfortunately the fog was in and we couldn’t see the crater but as we were coming down the views cleared and it was incredible. The other part of our group were slower hikers and we were back about an hour before them. We were a little worried about getting back on time but Desmond made sure we got to lunch, had time to enjoy and had us back to the ship with time to spare. I would not recommend if you are not in decent shape but if you like a good workout this trip is for you.

I think my husband and I underestimated how tough the climb up La Soufreire would be, but we made it thanks to Ossie's patient help! He's a great guide and we found out lots about the island, and plant and animal life which made the whole thing a really special experience. Thanks Ossie!

We booked with Sailor’s for a day trip to the Vermont rainforest in the morning and then to the Montreal gardens in the afternoon. Ozzy was our guide and he was wonderful! He was professional and knowledgeable with local information about all the plants and birds. We had our parents with us and Ozzy helped to ensure we hiked at their pace and that they didn’t miss anything. It was the perfect day trip to explore some of the beautiful views and wildlife that St Vincent offers.

How much would it cost for 13 adults and 1 child to go on the Wilderness tour, I especially want them to see the Botanical Gardens and the soufrier we will be staying at the Grenadine House in Kingstown we can plan it for July8,2015

If you email Sailor then he'll give you a price. We were a party of 5 for the volcano and I think it cost us $80 each. If there are 14 of you, you might need two minibuses and extra tour guides so you might be able to bargain the price a bit more.
For the botanical gardens, I would just go and use one of the tour guides there, which costs 10ECD each person. We had Errol take us round, he was absolutely brilliant... It's a short walk from grenadine house (a bit hilly but definitely doable). Hope you have fun!!
