Yes, we used US$ everywhere we went and usually we were given the same in change, only occasionally were we given Eastern Caribbean dollars as change, that was when they didn’t have US.

I would say you should be ok to get a taxi, I can’t remember how much it was to get in but well worth the money. If you want to go on the glass bottom boat ask for Romeo, he was our skipper and although his boat wasn’t the prettiest, he was an absolute darling Have a lovely holiday.... check out my other reviews because there was a bar on the beach by the jetty that was truly delightful and the owner (a very large chap) who was the best host ever...

Hi. You can just sit on the sand ; we dis the first afternoon we went. But the chairs arent expensive. They are only about £3 for the day. It's an absolutely stunning beach. Have a fabulous time.

You have to take a plane or the ferry to get from Port of Spain to Tobago.

Not sure to be honest, we got there about 10am, some places were open, others were not. The bar at the end was still opening and didnt serve drinks for at least 30 minutes after we arrived. The beach boys (no not the real ones) were still down there trying to sell trips though.

Hi, boat trips officially are twice a day, it lasts max 2h. Ok for 7 years old, but don’t expect something extra ordinary. Price 120-160 TT$ depending on boat.

Hello Pigeon Point beach is actually in our twin isle of Tobago, therefore you would have to go by the inter island ferry (2/12 to 4 hours depending on sea conditions) to Tobago from Port of Spain. Then its a fifteen minute taxi drive (depending on traffic) to Pigeon Point.
