Great way to learn about St. Croix’s cuisine and history!

We have been on this tour twice, and it is fantastic! The guides are extremely knowledgeable about St. Croix history and food. You will not only enjoy delicious food, but you will certainly learn something as well! Our guide this time was Q, and we had a wonderful time exploring with her. The tour is well worth the time and money, even if you already have a packed vacation schedule! We’ve been coming to St. Croix for years, and this is one of our favorite things to do by far. Don’t miss it!

Former resident learned something new!

Antoinette was a very knowledgeable tour guide. I lived on STX for 12 years and never visited 5 of the 6 stops for food! Loved being introduced to all local foods and drinks. My hubby & I returned to 2 of the stops the next day! The tour was well worth the charge for it. Highly recommend this tour.

Awesome food tour and culture/history lessons!

I highly recommend this food tour! Not only do you get to eat at very authentic local restaurants you also learn a lot about the history and culture of St. Croix. Our guide was "Q" and she was a native to the island so was the prefect person to teach us so much. We did this tour at the end of our trip and I was afraid we'd be going to many of the same places we'd already eaten, but no Q took us on some places I didn't find and believe me I thought I'd done my research on finding the great places to eat! Thank you Q for such a nice morning and memories we won't soon forget!

Must do St. Croix

This was by far one of the best 'experiences' I had on St. Croix. I felt really connected to the city after taking this food tour. Seeing where locals eat, and learning about the architecture of the buildings, make for the best morning. I went back to two places we stopped at, and tried two new places that our tour guide "Q" recommended. Definitely do this tour!

I can't speak for my partner, but for me with having NO prior experience or knowledge, our tour Guide Marra was very informative and thorough. The food and history of St. Croix aka Santa Cruz is truly amazing.

Fantastic food tour!

Anquanette did a great job of introducing us to some fantastic local food places while teaching us some island history and culture. We enjoyed every stop! There was plenty to eat and lots of variety. Would highly recommend this tour!

The BEST food tour!

Just home from our first time visiting St. Croix. So glad we did this tour at the beginning of our trip. We were able to get an excellent introduction to the local food scene. The Owner and tour operator, Anquanette Gaspar is a local and she does a phenomenal job of giving you tastes of local flavor while also sharing a fascinating cultural and historical information. We often will do a food tour when we are visiting a new place and this tour was the BEST we've ever done. It's an incredible value for just the amount of food you get to enjoy, but you really get to learn so much about the beautiful island paradise of St. Croix. Don't miss this!

The BEST Tour on St Croix!

I have lived on St Croix for over 3 years now, and just finally got around to doing a VI Food Tour. Our guide, the amazing Anquanette, was such a joy! Her personality really shines through her tour and she is passionate to share the food, history, and culture of St Croix with the guests. I discovered some new restaurants that I'll be sure to go back to, and I greatly enjoyed the history sprinkled throughout the tour. My mom enjoyed the food as well, which was a relief since she was visiting from the midwest and some of our food is a bit foreign to her. I'd suggest planning this tour towards the start of your vacation, as it will help to familiarize you with the island, and you'll likely find some restaurants that you'll want to return to. Also, Anquanette is a wealth of knowledge on the island, so she's happy to recommend to you other restaurants, tours, and activities on the island.

Wonderful St Croix Experience
After spending time on St Croix for the past five years I was searching for new things to do and read about the Food Tour. It was great! Our guide, Anquanette (Q), was excellent! She obviously loves her island and is full of knowledge about St Croix’s history, culture, and the local foods. We met her at Singh’s and started the day with a small ‘double’ , fried dough filled with potato and vegetables. Next stop a bakery across the street for bush tea and a local scone type pastry. From there we walked and learned about St Croix’s history etc. There were shady stops along the way which made the tour pleasant. We had a light lunch at Zeny’s, a drink (pain killer - yum!) on the boardwalk, then headed to the fort where we sat under the trees and enjoyed ‘empanada’ type snacks and another beverage. The tour ended with ice cream at a local place. It was exactly 3 hours full of information and delicious local cuisine. If you have the time, definitely do this tour. It’s uniquely a St Croix experience.
