I got to see undisturbed views of Magens Bay Beach! The turquoise blue color of the water is unreal. There were also some vendors up there.

So many great views on the skyline drive. Winding and curving narrow roads with hairpin turns now and then but at every clearing there is a great view

This was an amazing drive! The island is breathtaking! We toured from Emerald Bay Resort with Maria in her open air taxi. We love her! If you are lucky enough to get her she knows many little hidden stops!

Skyline drive was one of the highlights of our city tour. The views while driving up are amazing and the same for when you arrive at the lookout.
It was part of a St Thomas driving tour that we did on our last day. We went in an open (safari style) taxi with Skeno Jean- Baptiste (+13406900148) who was the best taxi and tour driver we could have asked for. A lot of the Taxi drivers we came across were very impatient and in some cases rude so he was a breath of fresh air, always pleasant and went above and beyond for us every time we were able to use his service. Including taking us to Magen’s bay beach (which wasn’t part of our tour route and waiting for us while we took a walk on the beach)
If you’re doing Skyline drive, you’ll wanna include drake’s seat and mountain top which are nearby. I highly recommend an open air vehicle for this so the views during the drive aren’t diminished.

Se você estiver em St Thomas vale a pena fazer um city tour, pois eles nos levam nos pontos mais lindos da ilha. A vista que se tem deste ponto é fantástica. Nossa motorista/guia Bibiana, foi impecável nas suas explicações.

We rented a car during a brief cruise stop in St Thomas, VI. Following a stop in town, we headed up to Skyline Drive. We stopped at the Charolette Amalie overlook for a few minutes. It is like looking out over a place that might be a beautiful as heaven. The water, the hills, and the other islands were all breathtaking.

This is a must see
The Skyline Drive is incredible
You can hike up this walk if you can it’s takes 15mins I heard people say it was very hard but we took the cable car

I visited St Thomas on a cruise in Feb 2019. I recommend renting a car to tour the island. It's way more economical than doing a day trip with the cruiseline. Our first stop, Skyline Drive was absolutely beautiful. The backdrop of Islands and Ocean in the distance is picturesque. I wished I had that view everyday. Calypso Music played from a gentleman playing steel drum. We danced and got awesome photos. Vendors are there if you need souveniers, a light snack or drinks.This spot is a must see if you visit St Thomas.
