We did a day tour to BVI on the Sea More out of St John last week. There were 9 of us which was perfect for this boat. We went to Spit Cay for snorkeling which was beautiful water/location. We then went to Josh Van Dyke and spent 3 1/2 hours there. We had a blast at this location. Floating in water drinking pain killers, listening to music, what a life! Getting thru BVI customs and US Customs didn't take long at all. Our captain and ship mate were excellent. I highly recommend this charter!

Captain Doug and "Admiral" Kevin were awesome. They were completely flexible to our group and made sure we had a great time. We hit 6 different locations and they took us to Waterlemon Cay, Mary's Point, Christmas Bay, Buck Island, Little James Island and Stephen's Point.
Highly recommended.

Last week we were aboard a privately-owned boat in the BVIs and went to The Caves, off of Norman Island to snorkel. Sea More was moored close in to the caves. When the Sea More group returned to their boat, we cast off our mooring to get closer, since we had one aboard who was not a strong swimmer. Our intentions were clear.
Someone aboard Sea More indicated that they were going to be there a while. When I asked how long, he indicated that it would be 15 minutes. Our captain was not tied up at the time and for the next 40 minutes, had to hover while the Sea More group stayed put, showing off cans of juice. The site was busy that day with plenty of people besides us, wanting to tie up.
The BVI is a treasure, to be shared by all. Our captain was polite and never said anything. As a diver, I have witnessed many great dive operations hurry to get off of a mooring to allow others to enjoy the experience.
I am an American, so can safely say that this was both disrespectful and a poor example of American hospitality.
Suggest you clean up your act.

Loved Justin and Antonio! Took us anywhere we wanted to go and gave us lots of local tidbits along the way. Justin took us ashore and walked us through The Baths which was really nice as others walking through had no clue what they were doing. Highly recommended and well worth the money!!!!

We have privately chartered Sea More for 3 years now and island hopped. This year our crew was Captain Kara and 1st Mate Julie. These lovely ladies are the meaning of excellent service. They accommodated our every need while keeping our drunk butts safe at all time. No one ever had an empty glass and they went out of their way to keep us entertained. (Ask about the boat fender rodeo). Captain Kara is highly skilled and whipped that boat into the docks like butter. Our group will return next year and we will request Kara and Julie. Our group can't say enough about this great experience!

My family had a fantastic time on the Sea More. It rained on us in the morning, but the weather quickly cleared and we were able to enjoy the day on the water. Capt Mike was great. We saw turtles at Buck Island off of St Thomas and lots of fish and coral at other spots around St Thomas and St John. I decided to go somewhere off the boat for lunch which wasn't a great decision. We went to Abi's on St Thomas and wasted over an hour for all of us to get served and eat. That place was sloooooooowwwww. We would have preferred to spend that time on the water snorkeling and swimming. There were 13 of us in my party and it was a tight fit on the boat. The Sea More is a nice boat and the crew was great. I wouldn't hesitate to go on another day sail with them if I'm ever lucky enough to make it back to the USVI.

Our group charted the Sea More speed boat for a fun afternoon of snorkeling and BVI bar-hopping. The crew were very friendly, and made sure that our cups were never empty. The snorkeling was underwhelming, but that was primarily due to the rough seas and cloudy water. There were two highlights - our stop at the Soggy Dollar Bar on Jost Van Dyke, and a quick stop at the "Corona Island". Both of these stops required a swim to get to shore, but the crew did a great job of getting us close to the beach so that even a tentative swimmer such as myself could easily swim in. The Corona Island was a special request, and they were more than happy to fit that into our day. The boat was barely big enough for our group of 12, but once you are out on the beautiful Caribbean sea with a cold rum punch or pain-killer, all of your cares will disappear!

For the second year in a row, myself, my husband and ten of our closest friends booked Sea More for a day in the Virgin Islands. We were tired of doing the other charters that are planned for you (i.e., Calypso, Stormy Petrol). The Captain (Captain Mike) is awesome. He suggested places to go and allowed us to come up with our own itinerary for the day. The boat offers an open bar and light snacks. The mates (and Captain) are extremely service oriented. The Captain even delivered drinks to us as we hung out in the water at White Bay. In fact, our rowdy bunch drank all of the rum on board and the mate borrowed some from another boat to keep the party going.
On Sea More, we have visited Soggy Dollar (and spent much more time there than the other boats), Sandy Spit (where the Corona commercials are filmed), Bee Line (a little local bar) and snorkeling spots. This trip is a little expensive and you have to pay $45 to customs if you want to see the BVI's but well worth every penny. These days are in my top ten of best days of my life. I highly recommend Sea More. We will be back Captain Mike, so stock up on the liquor!!

We traveled with a group of 6 couples traveling from Michigan. The crew had the boat there well ahead of our scheduled 9:00AM departure from the St. John Virgin Islands national park visitor. The boat easily accommodated our group of 12 with some spots in the shade but most in full sun. The boat itself is pretty utilitarian - but we were certainly comfortable while on the boat.
The captain went over some safety guidelines and we were off for a couple of snorkeling stops - we had a bit of a swell and the water was churned up a bit - but we still enjoyed the snorkeling and floating around the boat for the morning. We elected not to travel to Norman island to give us more time in the water and visiting Jost.
On Jost Van Dyke we stopped at foxy's for a beverage and then over to the soggy dollar bar where we had lunch - both places were fun and recommended - everyone enjoyed the sun-soaked beach for a while before swimming back out to the boat. The crew were generous with the beverages and also provided some lights snacks for the day.
The captain then took us off on a special request to visit the corona island - or Sandy spit... He backed us right up to the sand bar and we all made the short swim to the island for some photos by the palm tree - very unique experience for us.
Parking is a pain around the pick-up place - so leave some time for that when you arrive for the trip. You can not park at the visitor center since our trip took us outside the park. If you are taking a boat trip in the park you can get a visitors pass for the parking at the center.
All in all - a good day of fun on the water during our St. John's vacation!

Good Morning, we are expecting guests the week of April 15. There would be a total of 10 adults in our late 50's. Can you give us an ideal of a charter from Cruz Bay to Soggy. We would not snorkel on the way and understand we stop at customs at foxys. I think 2-3 hours at Soggy will be fine. Any information regarding rates and time would be appreciated.
