Hello again guys. Replying to your second mediocre review on the same trip. Once again, sorry if your experience was not up to your standards. I think I touched on most of your issues in the first response but as far as giving people unsafe fish to eat, that is not true. Certain species here are known to carry a fish bacteria called ciguatera, our company and crew would never give any of our customers a fish that was unsafe to eat or that we thought would have ciguatera. We have been fishing and diving here most of our lives and have very good knowledge of what fish are safe to eat. There is nothing I can do if another person outside of our company tells you something other than what we have told you and you choose to believe them, but we would never let you go home with any fish that was not safe to consume. Once again, sorry that the excursion was not up to your standards.

Hey guys! Sorry to hear your experience with us was not good or what you expected. As we all know fishing is fishing and not catching so if it was slow we apologize but some days are just better than others. As we recall the crew only stopped at one lobster spot because you were able to put 6 or 7 lobsters in the boat, which for 4 people is usually over the limit we like to keep for dinner (1 lobster per person is what we aim for to keep it sustainable and plenty of them out there for the next person!). If you wanted to keep searching for lobster we do apologize and we thought the crew was communicating clearly on what you wanted to keep doing throughout the day, which was to fish and not dive for more lobster. As for the bait situation, we go out early every morning before the trips to catch live bait to make the fishing the best experience as possible. Sometimes we catch it, sometimes we strike out, bait can be limited here and moves around a lot depending on weather conditions. I’m sure the crew was only trying to make sure you had more bait when dropping you off on a nearby beach to make the best experience possible. Our tackle store also recently burned down so when we cannot get live bait we usually have access to buying squid or other types of bait which we were unable to get because of the fire. As far as the fishing lines go, we fish a certain way and usually like to keep it to 2-3 rods bottom fishing so there is to tangles! Lastly, the crew is always there to make sure you have the best day possible and they work together throughout the day to do so. Captain Thaddeus is always accommodating and we’re sorry if you felt like he did not want to clean fish and lobster for you guys but he did clean up all the lobster for you guys and as much fish as you wanted to take, which from what I recall was everything, which is much more than most other companies give out. Sometimes the smaller fish are not worth filleting and most visitors do not enjoy eating the whole fish with bones so that may have been the miscommunication.
