Folks, you are paying to watch some dude chase flamingos around in a circle for an hour.
Don’t waste your money on this crap it was a total waste of time.
This is a scam and they are trying to take advantage of naive tourists who think they are going to see something special

Very cool place. We fed the goats and sheep. Saw the flamingos and capybara. It’s a small place but the staff is great, very caring of the animals, very polite and knowledgeable. Must come see help support a good cause for conservation.

Loved the flamingoes! Beautiful landscaping, large variety of animals (pigs, turtles, sheep, raccoon, capybara) and birds (parrots, peacocks, owls). $35 pp but very enjoyable.

Only 1.8 miles from the cruise port this place is not to be missed by anyone visiting Nassau. Flamingo show is amazing! Gardens are arranged like a beautiful tropical forest with many unique animals, such as capybaras, Bahamas ducks, monkeys, turtles and varieties of parrots.

A fun thing to do while in Nassau. Not crowded at all. Price was a bit high for what you get. The flamingo show was fun and cool to get up close with the flamingos. Lots of exotic birds to see.

I like this place but set your expectations. It's a one hour walk through. The flamingo show is a cool thing you can't see in a lot of places. We were last here about 10 years ago and compared to that visit this time the flamingo show seemed a little less dramatic (they basically walked in a circle) and while last time we took these awesome pictures with birds on our heads, this time we weren't allowed.

We booked the “Rescue tales and tails” excursion with DCL and it included a visit to Adastra Gardens. We were treated like VIPs, it was so good! The guide was besties with all the animals, knew everyone’s backstory. Anytime he walked up to an enclosure the animals would run up, happy to see him. The flamingo show was really cool, and all the animals looked well cared for. We really appreciated the care and attention to detail provided for us, they made us feel really special and welcome.

The garden staff are nice and friendly. The animals could use some upgraded housing. The gardens were a bit run down but overall the experience with the Flamingos was the best EVER!

Though some may say this is a small conservation program it is fabulous. Not only do all who work there really care about the animals, they can tell you interesting facts and show genuine affection for the individual animals

Good afternoon. The tour offered by the ship includes transportation and a city tour. However, if you wish to come to us directly, taxis and public buses are readily available at the port. We're looking forward to your visit and encourage you to plan your visit around our signature showtimes which are 10:30am, 1:30pm and 3:30pm. It's about a 10 minute drive from the port.

The buses line up right across from the cruise terminal. Ask the guards on your way out. There are different numbered lines and they all end up there.

We've decided to visit Ardastra Gardens, but we are finding difficulty in securing private transportation. We want safe travel that will provide a car seat for toddler. No tours. Any recommendations?

Would like to add this trip to our tour, visiting with a toddler (18 mos), concerned about navigating the grounds with a stroller. How would you rate navigation: (1) like walking through a shopping mall, smoothed surfaces (2) like walking on city streets, some unleveled, paved walk paths (3) a hiking trail, lots of unpaved walk paths and natural elements. Our general areas and pathways are wheel chair accessible, though our bathrooms are not. A stroller can definitely work on our grounds! We hope to see you soon!
