A great place to stop off at to stretch your legs or spend an afternoon.
Great park with toilets and nice walks around the river and beyond if you wanted to.

Great for walking and taking your dog! She loved it and she got to meet some other dogs along the way and go into the water that surrounds

What a beautifully maintained outdoor space - we went looking for a dog walk and a enjoyed a fantastic 2 hour ramble. Excellent and spotless toilets with hot water, great variety of walks beside water which dog loved. Well done to West Lothian staff looking after this space.

Gd walks yes but the owner needs to learn not to ask personal questions about my disability because i have a blue badge she said i looked fit and healthy...i was having a gd day but on a normal day i can be bed bound, she said the disabled park is only for people who cant walk but on the sign it doesnt state that only says disabled blue badges only which i have. Very annoyed and WONT be going back their to be questioned again

There are many lovely works to be enjoyed at Almondell and Calderwood Country Park. This is our go to for a lovely walk. I would highly recommend and there are also many geocaches in the area for anyone who enjoys combining this with walks.

Love walking around these parts with friends or alone. Been going here for over 30 years since I was a kid. Great memories. Gorgeous on a sunny day to have picnics too.

The walks in this Country Park are very pleasant & the freedom to walk through this park is good for exercising dogs etc.

lovely place to go we walk our little dog here every day the scenery is lovely great walking along the river almond great wee shop here too my girls love going here especially to the swing park and love collecting Concors

Great place to walk with the kids, see a bit of nature and pat a few passing doggies. Worth a trip for anybody in the Edinburgh/Lothians area looking for a bit of serenity.

I’d like to visit early evening , it says it ‘closes’ at 4, I’m hoping that’s just the visitor centre ? Is it possible to go around 5-6pm?
