I went to Martin Tailors for a suit for my cousins’ wedding. The theme for the wedding is bright summer. Martin Tailors made me a beautiful green suit. I went to Martin Tailors in the late evening of Sunday and the suit was ready on Tuesday. Amazing and friendly guys!

In Krabi now, from the moment we walked through the door of the shop we felt welcomed and at ease, took time to browse catalogues without feeling rushed, helpful staff gave recommendations on style and fabrics etc, went in looking for a suit, ended up with a suit and 3 very nice shirts, wife was so impressed she ordered an evening dress and a silk blouse too! All sized and delivered to our hotel ( 20 minute drive from Ao Nang) all within 5 days! ( shirts in 3 days) wardrobe now looking a bit more dapper I must say, if you’re looking for tailoring you can’t go wrong with these guys ( especially if they can impress my missus)

What a reliable, friendly and good quality business. They are very polite. Even when I could no longer pick it up, they sent it to my accommodation elsewhere free of charge. Top!

Unfortunately I had a terrible experience. I approached Martin early in my 8 day stay seeking someone to make a copy of my linen shorts so that could wear them during the holiday. At first Martin was very welcoming and helpful. He assured me he could have the shorts made to match the pair I had, and also in a timely manner. He showed me all the linen colours he had and we discussed multiple pairs. I selected three colours. Martin promised he would have one pair ready within 24 hours and the other shortly afterwards. After some haggling we settled on a price, or so I thought. This was in the middle of the day. After not hearing from him over night I went to the store in the early afternoon. This time he wasn’t so welcoming. He assured me the first pair would be ready later that night and that he would contact me on WhatsApp. I didn’t hear anything and returned the next day around the same time. This is now more than 48 hours! He assured me they would be ready later that night (10.30pm). Again I didn’t hear from him so went in the next day around lunchtime. This time they were ready for viewing. This is now 3 days after the initial deal. I was initially happy with the shorts until I noticed the stitching on the hem was not the same colour as the shorts and differed from other stitching on the shorts. I pointed this out and Martin said he would have them re-stitched. The next day I went to the store again and Martin tried to convince me that the stitching was the same colour…he had not had the re-stitched. He then tried to tell me I could let them down completely and have the overlocking exposed! I objected. By this time the other two pairs were ready but they had awful white rope drawstrings instead of matching linen. When I pointed this out he seemed annoyed and tried to tell me this was a better option. I had to explain again that the deal was to match the existing pair (all linen) just as he had done with the first pair. This is now day 4. Late the following day I received a message informing me the shorts were ready (day 5). I wasn’t able to collect the shorts as I was away on an island. On day 7, after 11pm he went to our hotel and had them call our room. We were not there. Then early the next morning, our final day, I received a message from his friend informing me that he would ‘make problems’ for me and bring the police to the hotel. To say I was gobsmacked is an understatement. When the shorts were eventually collected, just hours before our departure, the stitching on the first pair had still not been replaced. To add insult to injury he also added 1000 baht to the original deal. I made the mistake of completing part of the form and then allowing him to add the rest after I left the store. I never signed the form because the price was never written on it. I only took the other two pair, refusing the pair with the ‘colourful’ stitching.
In summary, this was the worst retail experience of my life! All I wanted was some shorts to wear on my holiday. The only positive is the two pair that I eventually bought are very nice.

I recently visited this tailor shop, and I'm extremely impressed with their craftsmanship. The attention to detail in altering my garments was impeccable, resulting in a perfect fit. The staff was courteous, and the service was efficient. I highly recommend this tailor shop for anyone seeking quality alterations and a friendly atmosphere.

We came in on our last day before leaving to Bali. Martin and John were super helpful and were able to get us 3 tailored suits and and 6 shirts literally the day before we left. They even offered to drop everything off at our hotel. Amazing!

These guys got our suits done literally in like 8 hours before the day we left to go back to Bangkok! I strongly recommend asking for Martin and John. They will measure you, go through the fabric selection, and then they will have your suit ready for you to try on and pick up!

I picked up two suits there, both of which are very beautiful and of superb quality. The sales assistant is really attentive and very helpful. Finally, Martin is a really nice person.
