Friday 19th January and we took a long tail boat trip from Ao Nang Beach to Railay Beach.
This statue is located at the top of the pathway, lined with shops and bars, that is on the way to East Railay
The statue depicts an upright Mermaid, facing the sea, she is holding a conch shell to her mouth. She stands on a plinth with her tail outstretched behind her.
On the front of the plinth os a location market, with the words " Railay Beach Krabi".
It is basically a photo opportunity for visitors to say, been here.
