It’s a natural phenomenon so the impressiveness is going to vary according to how forceful the sea is at the time you’re there!
The walk to the blowhole can be frustrating for some as you’re running a gauntlet there and back of traders trying to sell their wares, but it’s not aggressive like it used to be in Turkey, and still is in India or Egypt!
The drive there and back is interesting as you see agriculture for sure and also extremes of how people are living- grand houses versus little fishing communities, camping places and people in ageing rv’s, mobile homes, trailers etc.

The vendors are ruthless. Feel like we were all attacked by those trying to make a quick profit and sell us garbage. We brought home 2 small bottles of tequila. It says it’s 38% alcohol but it turns near solid when placed in the freezer. The food was amazing. Almost every vendor was trying to sell marijuana and cocaine to those passers by. The guy in the bus was friends with allot of the vendors and they were talking to each other in Spanish

Beautiful place to visit for the first timer tourist, we only spent a couple of hours, but still for my opinion based on my experience its a beautiful place

Very good experience. Unique. You really hear the loud noise and even with rainbows. We have to go early. They suggest the sunset.

La Bufadora is a place you should never miss when visiting Ensenada
But it's amazing how run down and dirty they have it.
Tourism institutions should be part of this project because it is an image of the city
I won't say that all, but some vendors focus on Chicano tourism, I can't say foreign but domestic
It was my turn to get in the car to the bottom for carrying a senior citizen and a salesman would tell the Chicanos that they were year old about the avenue. I understand you do it for looking good and earning a tip
Definitely when you get to the end it is worth seeing the natural phenomenon but the road is depressing dirt, mess, very bad image for tourism

We visited in July.
The feature was something cool to see but beware. This is a tourist trap. The guide took us down the street leading to the ocean. We stopped at certain vendor/locations that the guide wanted us to visit. Every time we stopped we were almost mauled by people selling stuff.
They were pushing “samples” of alcohol at almost every location. They even tried to offer a tequila sample to kids. Another vendor offered drugs.
Very pushy, some very sketchy people in that area.
Once you get to the ocean the vendors leave you alone and the musicians and photographers get there turn to push for cash.
After seeing the feature then we had to walk back through the gauntlet to get out of there.
Long drive that ultimately is not worth it.

I found the Bufadora an amazing place although we only went from entrance to exit, it was worth visiting the place.
I recommend going to the bottom in the viewpoint to appreciate the spectacle of La Bufadora

The drive to get there was really not worth the harassment you have to endure when you are walking down the hill to the blow hole. The vendors are very LOUD and aggressive, bordering on rude! I was very disappointed in this whole experience. I have been to other parts of Mexico and I felt a lot safer.

It met all my expectations, the views during the last part of the outward journey alone are worth the return trip there.
I recommend going early and then returning to Ensenada or the Valley to eat because there isn't much there.
Don't expect more than literally seeing and hearing the water "snorting" and the very beautiful view of the sea, if you go expecting restaurants and things to do more than that, then they are going wrong.
It's worth it if you're already around, because it's the only puffer in the country, and there are only 3 others in the world.

We expected more. A little water spraying up between the rocks. No fountain or anything like that. Instead, a lot of chatting in the last few meters.

Hi, does one has to walk a lot when visiting la bufadora? I am visiting with old parents and have limited mobility. They can walk but not a lot at a time. Any suggestions??

You would have to look out for the restaurants and bars to sit for a bit. There are no "park" benches until you get to the end by the blow hole. There you can find steps and ledges to sit down on. If they have the walkers with the seats it would be ideal. It is a relatively flat walk.There are some steps at the end newar the blowhole.

Se puede visitar pero es muy alto riesgo por las imperfecciones de la carretera y en el. Lugar todo estaría cerrado. Locatarios cierran al. Oscurecer. Y carretera 🛣 no muy segura, ya que es de dos carriles solamente y no hay postes de luz. Y para apreciar ese lugar turístico es. Mejor de muy de Mañana por la Marea y admirar los paisajes. Es Cúanto. Gracias.
