A wonderful approximately 3 mile long Esplanade with views of the water and amazing sunset and plenty of restaurants along the side it is totally safe and the food options are numerous. People are friendly and you will be pleased to have gone there

The Malecon is front and center as you arrive in La Paz. Beautiful, clean, with amazing sculptures. During our visit featured the numerous kiosks and stages set up for carnival.

Great place for walking, taking in the bay views, people watching, dining and shopping for souvenirs. The Artist Market on Tuesday and Saturday has great lovely locally made art.

Me encanto, muy limpio, familiar y unos hermosos atardeceres, repleto de restaurantes con gente muy amistosa y amable, además de ser un lugar con demasiadas playas y quede encantada con la playa de balandra ❤️❤️

El malecon de la paz me encanto es un lugar fascinante en lo personal me gustaría regresar lo más pronto posible y de sus playas pffff balandra y el tecolote son maravillosas excelente recomendado al 100 %

Hi, someone wrote the beaches were an hour away. We are beach bums and stay there all day. Is the Malecon good for that?

Balandra Beach--our favourite--less than half an hour from la Paz by car. Other beeches right in the city, at either end of Malecon.

You can probably rent a car very easily in Cabo, although it is expensive. There are very good, reliable confortable public buses. Private shuttles too. One way suttle costs approx $30.
