Una experiencia maratónica de buceo, si te gusta bucear sin duda un paraíso.
El archipiélago está conformado por la isla socorro, isla roca partida, isla san Benedicto e isla clarion. Tuvimos la experiencia con Nautilus live aboard, el barco es bastante espacioso, los cuartos muy agradables con cama king size dos buros, sillón y baño con regadera dentro de tu cuarto. En el sun deck asileaderos y un bar muy agradables a nivel del mar el espacio para todos los equipos de buceo comedor, cocina, una sala con televisión y bar.
El viaje es de 7 días de los cuales 1 noche y un día completo a de navegación para llegar a la primera parada y lo mismo de regreso. Los otros 5 días se dividen en las Islas excepto la isla clarion no la visitas. Tienes 4 buceos al dia, desayuno, lunch, comida y cena muy ricos, el crew bastante amable. La experiencia es maravillosa si te gusta el buceo.
Tienes oportunidad de ver distintas clases de tiburones, mantarayas, escuelas de atunes gigantes, langostas gigantes, pulpos, variedad de peces, delfines, con suerte ballenas, en fin una gran experiencia.

Looking in La Paz for whale shark tours -which is supposed to be one of the best spots for this. No one says what time of year is best, this review is NOT any where NEAR La Paz!! 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼💩

If you want to see big animals, this is the place, galapagos sharks, great hammer sharks, whale sharks, giant mantarays, dolphins, humpback whales, tuna fish, and the list just goes on and on.

Please people: this is just silly: to list remote islands over 600 miles from La Paz under "Things to Do". The Islas Revillagigedo are only reached by from Cabo via rather pricey charter yachts.

Wir waren bereits 9 mal hier. Klar, man benötigt auch hier etwas Glück alles zu sehen, was das Taucherherz begehrt. Wir fahren immer Anfang November, da zu der Zeit wenige Schiffe vor Ort sind. Es wird auch hier immer schlimmer mit den Tauchbooten von 18 Jahren waren wir mit der Solmar V alleine, mittlerweile fahren ca. 9 Schiffe das Gebiet an. Die Zeit der Idylle ist also auch hier vorbei. Wir haben im November immer Walhaie Mantas Hanmerhaischulen, galapagaos- silberspitzen- graue- und viele mehr Haiarten und Delphine gesehen. Nicht nur einmal sondern öfter beim tauchen. Mit Glück auch Tigerhaie. Es lohnt sich also.

El lugar es un paraíso, el mar tiene un color impresionante y la fauna marina es hermosa. Muy recomendable, aunque es largo el camino, pero vale la pena.

Wir haben für 10 Tage auf der Nautilus gebucht. Die Überfahrt zu den Inseln Socorro, Roca Partida und San Benedicto ab Cabo San Lucas dauert fast 30 Stunden, bei ruhiger See ohne Probleme, jedoch bei schwerem Seegang sind Reisemedis zu empfehlen.
Tauchen:
Bis zu 4 TG am Tag möglich. Nightsnorkling ein mal mit Seidenhaien möglich.
Tauchplätze: Boiler mit Mantas, Delfinen, Thunfischen, Tigershark, Galapagoshaien, Fischschwärme ganz Ok, jedoch zeitweise zu viele Taucher unter Wasser.
Socorro: machten wir 3 TG ...... NICHTS........
Roca Partida: Ähnlich wie Boiler, sogar noch mit Schweinswalen.
Canyon: Top Driftdive mit Manta, Tigershark
Tacheles: wer glaubt in hier rein zu springen und auf unzählige Mantas, Delfine und Haie zu treffen liegt falsch, auch hier ist Glück gefragt. Wer Mantas sehen will ist hier richtig, unglaublich zutraulich, kommen sehr nahe. Delfine hatten wir 2 mal und das auch nur sehr kurz. Haie habe ich in der Anzahl mehr erwartet, wie allgemein Fischschwärme etc.
Obwohl mit Buckelwalen geworben wird haben wir keinen gesehen....... erst im Hafen von Cabo ist dann noch einer uns über den Weg geschwommen, jedoch schnorcheln oder tauchen mit Buckelwalen ist meiner Ansicht nach Illusion.
Leider wird trotz Schutzgebiet um die Insel auch hier mit Langleinen gefischt was sich negativ auf die Anzahl aller Meerestiere hier auswirkt.
Besonders Hammerhaie habe ich vermisst..... 3 Begegnungen mit grossen Einzelgängern und 2 mal Hammerhaischulen von weitem ist dann doch zu wenig.
Trotzdem waren es fantastische, abwechslungsreiche Tauchtage...... muss man ein mal gesehen haben.

Hola estoy muy interesada en saber sobre todo las condiciones del mar en cuanto a navegación se refiere.supongo que para encontrar más vida es importante también que sean lugares de fuertes corrientes. Alguien que conozca bien el sitio me puede informar también de la mejor época. Ya se que todo es relativo pero en líneas generales. Gracias

I am 70 years old and, though a skillful diver, I no longer want to fight strong current. My son-in-law was on a liveaboard when a female diver reportedly was pulled down off Soccoro Island and drowned. Can anyone tell me if the current is very strong and makes diving dangerous here?

How deep is the typical dive to see manta rays? Is a wet suit required in November when the water temperatures are around 82F /28C degrees? Any preferred live aboard operators that you would recommend? Is this type of diving suitable for a relatively new (less than 20 dives) diver who has dived only in calm Caribbean waters? Thank you for your answers!

I would suggest you will need at least a 5mm full suit including hood in the early part of the year. If you go in October November then you will probably get away with a 3mm suit with a hood attached undersuit. It does depend on what your comfort zone is. You will see Mantas at almost any depth and the Boiler, one of the best sites for seeing them in numbers you do not need to dive deeper than 20 o 25 meters and much of the time you are at shallower depths. Most of the dives , except for Roca Partida are over areas where you can clearly see or follow the bottom, RP is srtaight down all the way round so your buoyancy control needs to be spot on.I would also you suggest you use Nitrox as with a four dive a day schedule you will find this not only less tiring but considerably safer.( you will need to show a Nitrox certification if you do opt for this). I would recommend Solmar V as they have probably one of the most experienced crew doing the trip. Look at their trip reports on Youtube and you will get a good idea of what goes on and how the trips are run. It is a very different experience to diving in the Caribbean but on Solmar the diving instructors are extremely vigilant and always helpful to everyone especially those who may need a little bit of extra care

No it is a live-aboard trip and that takes 22 hours to get to the islands. You will need to book at least a year in advance to be sure of a place. Trips are usuall 9- 11 days
